Reverie and Redemption

Rate this book
I’m in love with three men. I’m just not sure if they’re a dream come true or my worst nightmare.

It began with hearing voices - another step on my steady descent into madness. It was inevitable, considering the whole town hated me and I was the loneliest person on the planet.

I didn’t really blame them. Everyone who got close to me ended up in the hospital. I’d be suspicious of me too.

When the three distinct, alluring voices in my head started to appear before my eyes as three distinct, gorgeous men I really started to question everything I thought I knew.

They called themselves Dreamwalkers and told me they were hunting the monster attacking all the people around me.

They won’t leave me alone.

I’m not sure I want them to.

But am I the monster they’re after? Or are we all in worse danger than I ever could’ve imagined?

Brilliantly crafted and beautifully told- this is Kaydence Snow at her best! In the endless churn of romance books with familiar tropes, well trodden plots, and stock character archetypes, it’s rare I find a story that feels so refreshingly original, a story that swims against the current. And Reverie and Redemption is that story- it’s a story conceptually unique and narratively creative, a story that is clearly imbued with the artistic passions of it’s creator, unapologetically but gracefully standing outside of the pack, just like our fantastic heroine, Reverie. This story is different, endearingly quirky but also poignantly pensive, truly memorable.

I don’t want to speak too much about the plot because part of the experience is you, like our heroine, trying to figure out just what is going on. But Kaydence brilliantly takes the age-old story of the Sandman, the concept of dream walking, and reinvents it as a reverse harem, romantic suspense that intrigues and also inspires. Our heroine reverie is an outcast, an ostracized secluded ginseng farmer, who has a troubling connection with her dreams that often results in tragic consequences for those around her. She doesn’t quite understand what is happening, what is real and what is perhaps her psychological state from her own isolation or pain. It starts with dreamwalking and hearing voices- voices getting louder, and she discovers she’s crossed the path with three swoony and enigmatic dream walkers- men alluring, insightful, and ultimately her only allies.

While this is a reverse harem story, and we get lots of sexy and delicious romantic content and three delicious men with their own backstories, what I marveled most at in this story is the character journey of Reverie, and her own path to redemption and hope. This is truly her story- and the character that we are really immersed in. She’s quirky and fun, but she’s also incredibly tragic. Young, alone, hated and feared- but so resilient and strong in the face of real, tragic, and unexplained phenomenon AND in the face of a heartbreaking lived reality. Her loneliness is palpable, but she’s hopeful. And wow, there’s so much power in seeing that. She never succumbs to her circumstances, she never turns bitter or spiteful- in fact, she comes from a place of empathy and understanding. From a place of kindness and forgiveness- even for those that have caused her pain. And we get to watch her form these transformative relationships that help her find more of our own courage, because they help her feel seen. Alongside Reverie, we discover the power of reaching across others- even if it’s hard. Even if you have to reach across different realities, to find our commonalities- to share in our humanity.

Of course, Kaydence also treats us to a fast paced mystery and multi-plane action. We have loads of twists, engaging climatic action, and a powerful character arc for our heroine that interweaves with the mystery. And brilliantly, a lot of our story is told through dreams- the line of awake and sleep, consciousness and non brilliantly blurring in the prose so we experience the world just as Reverie does. The world is immersive but accessible- a strength Kaydence Snow has in PNR storytelling.

If you are looking for something that breaks the mold, something fresh and inventive, look no further. Kaydence Snow has written a story unlike anything I’ve read- it’s beautiful, it’s entertaining, it’s meaningful, and it’s spiritual. A tale of joy and redemption, a reminder to live with empathy and kindness at our core, and a thoughtful superhuman depiction of the power of leaning into our humanity.

Reverse harem standalones are hard to pull off (IMO), but I enjoyed this one. I appreciated how unique the story was. It was refreshing to read about paranormal beings I haven't yet in any other RH, and I liked how the author let us figure out what they were along with the heroine, Reverie.

I loved Reverie's harem! Hollis, Oskar, and Sinan were all distinctly different individuals, so I didn't have a problem with them all blending together or anything of that nature. I enjoyed finding out about their pasts and watching them interact with her in both of their forms. Their attraction and quickly strengthening feelings towards Reverie and vice versa made sense to me, because of their particular situations.

Reverie has had it rough, and I felt for her from the beginning. Everyone she gets close to ends up in a coma or dead. People fear and loathe her for it, but she has no idea why it keeps happening. I liked how she tried to understand where everyone was coming from and respect their pain, but she was also ready with snappy comebacks and sass when necessary.

I have to admit that I felt kind of bad for the villain though. 🙈 I couldn't help it. Call me crazy. I'm sure you wouldn't be wrong lol, but the whole thing left me feeling slightly fucked up. There is no excuse for what they did, don't get me wrong, but it bothered me when I found out why they were the way they were. It made me upset with Reverie, and it made me feel not as happy with the way everything was resolved as I should have been.

Overall, I'm happy I picked this one up! The romance and steam were great. The paranormal elements were interesting, and the mystery kept me intrigued.

Paranormal RH fans, this one's for you!

3.5⭐ initially I was rounding up, but the more I think about it, as much as I enjoyed the premise of the book and its potential, the execution didn’t quite connect with me as much as I’d want it to.

PNR RH standalone told in single POV by FMC.

The opening of this story really captured my interest with its descriptive world setting and conveying a wondrous, dreamscape feel. I really felt for Reverie (the FMC) and what she had been through, especially the loneliness she felt. I also really liked how she just kind of rolls with whatever is happening and leans on sarcasm.... And her t-shirt collection 😁

“Real or not, they made me feel more alive than I ever had, and I was not about to give that up.”

“... I can see that pain in you. That same pain I’ve carried …. But you still find strength in yourself to keep going, and you still find joy in life. You smile, you laugh. You have a smart wit and smarter mouth.”

It's a bit too insta-lust and quick-to-love for my taste. I prefer to have more of a build up for the relationships and feel growth and depth to the connections. And to have more of the character growth and lessons learned shown through experiences than simply stated (more show vs tell). But if you are in the mood for low internal angst where the Hs quickly go to thinking the FMC is the most perfect creature in the universe and they want to worship her - then you're in luck 😉

“You’ve taught us so much about ourselves, about the world, about love and forgiveness.”

There's a "learning love and forgiveness" theme, which is sweet but fell a bit flat with me without feeling more of a connection with the characters and to have it more stated than felt or experienced.

The ending felt a little abrupt. It's like the start of HEA. It would have been nice to have some more HEA time in an epilogue to see Reverie and her guys living their HEA.

I have read all of Kaydence's books, with Evelyn Maynard being a favorite. Usually I feel more connection with her characters, even with single POV, and I didn't really with this one. Not sure why. But I love how Kaydence continues to stretch her author's wings to write with passion and venture into new/different and I look forward to what's next.

Reverie and Redemption by Kaydence Snow was a soulful PNR Reverese Harem romance with some beautiful characters. It was full of love, life and fantasy set in a dreamy and sinful tone.

Reverie has learnt to live a lonely and secluded life in her home and with her ginseng and herbs garden. Because people from her small town hate her and fear her. Because everyone she has loved once Upon a time has slipped into an unexplainable coma. Her mother. Her best friend. And so many more. One day she starts hearing disjointed voices. And she feels she is going crazy for real till she can see them too. Three beautiful men. Sinan. Hollis. Oskar. Also known as the Dreamwalkers. They are here to help her to unlock her powers and solve this mysterious issue. Will they only do that or is it a new beginning for her?
.
This was a fast paced and cleverly crafted storyline. And all the stakes were evenly divided. It is told from Reverie's POV and I would have loved it more if we had some chapters from POV of the Dreamwalkers. I don't want to give you spoilers to explain how and when. In a nutshell, the men have the ability to manipulate dreams and they live in a different plane. And Reverie has special power to interact with them. It was a learning curve for her. She had a lonley bitter and regretful existence and these men gave her so much. Love. Support. Friendship. Protection. Passion. And she made their existence a meaningful and colourful one. I loved to see their little group to grow and connect. My favorite is Hollis who is equally charming and witty and gorgeous. Sinan is the grumpy brooding alpha one and Oskar is the level headed thinking one. They all brought unique stories and personalities from their past life and it was fascinating! I loved how strong and loving Reverie is, despite all the hatred she got. It has an amazing action and suspense part as they chase and defeat the villain causing all the mayhem. It was not too angsty or too steamy but definitely an interesting read!

Reverie and Redemption by Kaydence Snow was heartaching and explosive. The storyline captured my heart and my attention completely.

4.5 Dreamwalkers not Sandmen Stars

Between dream and reality, Kaydence Snow delivered a captivating tale of redemption and love.

Ostracized by the whole town of Gritton for reasons out of her control, Reverie Hofman lives a lonely life never making connections with anyone. Only the voices she starts hearing and the sleepwalking incidents she goes through (not necessarily in that order ^_^) bring some craziness into her world.

It is not often I read books involving dream walkers so I was really excited for this one. The mystery got me intrigued from the beginning and I really enjoyed the thin line between dream and reality in the writing. Oskar, Sinan and Hollis all brought different emotions and gave Reverie the connections and support she needed. I had a great time seeing the real friendship between the guys and how they related to Reverie.

The writing was really good and kept me committed to the story. I was not expecting all the twists and though a bit slow at times, I just wanted more of those characters.

I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved this story so much that I'm at a loss for words atm. I feel so many emotions that I'm having trouble finding the right words to describe it.

I don't read a lot of PNR RH but let me tell you this author is the best!! I've been missing out for sure. I'm definitely going on a search for similar reads. Lol.

Rev and her guys have melted my heart. Their conversations, connection, banter, loyalty and the steam! So freaking good! Oskar, Sinan and Hollis, all very different yet it worked for them. Broody, charming, kind-hearted, strong, flirty and intelligent. Let's not forget about Reverie. She's firece with a beautiful soul. She's witty and sarcastic but she also hides behind it. Because she's in pain, her heart breaks a little more everyday and she's incredibly lonely.

One day everything starts to change. Rev and the guys start to figure it out and put the missing pieces together. I think I was holding my breath, lump in my throat, teary-eyed as I was nearing the end. I was hopeful, I needed them to have their happy ending.

I think you should go into this story blind and just enjoy it. It's so well written, great world building, interesting characters and amazing story. 5 stars for me.

Reverie and Redemption was a very interesting book. Honestly, from the very first chapter I had questions. I don't even feel like I got that many answered after the last page either. Mostly because once we learn something new, more questions came right after that. Then again, it doesn't help that each twist and character added more confusion to me either.

Doesn't mean I didn't like or enjoy anything either because I totally did. It felt like I had to expect the unexpected when it came to this. Which let the overall adventure and story take me on a wild ride. One that I could never imagine to be on.

So, yes, I definitely enjoyed the heck out of getting to know everyone. The romance between them all sort of felt instantaneous but enjoyable. I still feel like I don't know every little thing when it comes to them. Especially Reverie. I just really wanted to know what she was the entire time and why things were happening to certain people.

Other than that, sleep and dream walking was eye opening for me. I do wish the book was a bit longer though. Or that maybe we will get another book but that's just because I'm selfish and want more information.

In the end, it was weird and good. Weirdly good.

My overall takeaway from this was how odd it was but still an enjoyable RH (standalone) read. In the end I’m not completely clear on what the heroine is or why, but as everything worked out and the story is over it’s a moot point for me lol. My takeaway is she’s like the go between for the dreamwalkers and living humans 🤔 The evil baddie in the story is the Maron and quite honestly my eyes kept reading it as moron and well, that made it fun. Then for him to have been the heroine Reverie’s imaginary friend from when she was younger creeped me out and took me by surprise. I can kind of see why he would turn bad, along the same lines of an angry spirit and being ignored for years could piss anyone off. I wish there was an epilogue for a more drawn out HEA especially with the guys returning to normal life. The men were an interesting trio, all from different time periods and serving the afterlife as Dreamwalkers for different reasons. Before Reverie learns more about what she can do the men and her only interact with them as incorporeal beings or during her dreams. Even though they did have bodies at times I couldn’t help thinking she was having ghost sex and then one literally “ghosted” on her during sex 🤣🤣 Interesting paranormal RH read that’s for sure.

Reverie and Redemption is one of the more unique books I have read this year. The concept of the dreamwalking adds to the mood of the story, and there is mystery as well. Reverie, our heroine, is as unique as you would expect given her talents. She is quirky and strange, which kind of fit perfectly. She has had a rough past, but she just rolls with things. She isn't one of those over the top, badass heroines. She is more average-but it a totally unique way.

Her hunky harem are the dreamwalkers! Swoon! You get a bit of backstory on each, which I always appreciate. Sometimes in a reverse harem the character development suffers because there are several characters to develop.

Honestly, I felt Reverie and Redemption kept me guessing because it was all just so not normal. I enjoyed the relationship as well, so overall, this was a win!

This was hands down the most unique why choose I have ever read. I enjoyed this a lot. It follows Reverie and everyone she has ever loved mysteriously falls into a comatose state for months to years or falls victim and passes away.
The whole town thinks she is weird and the cause of all these mysterious issues.

Reverie is lonely and feels guilty for what is happening but she starts hearing voices and three mysterious men in her dreamscape and real life. Are these men there to help her or is there something more sinister going on?

I felt for Reverie in this book. The town treated her like crap and she didn’t deserve what was happening. The three men Hollis, Oskar and Sinan have been around for a very long time and the history of these characters is so interesting. I loved the dynamic of their interactions and the spice was just perfect.
It’s hard to explain this book as it’s so different and thrilling. I honestly didn’t know what to expect but was very surprised I loved it.

This book was so completely different then anything else I have ever read & I loved every page. Kaydence Snow has a serious gift for coming up with unseen ideas and weaving a beautiful story with them. Reverie believes that she is cursed as everyone around her ends up falling into a deep sleep, some never waking up. That is until Oskar, Sinan & Hollis show up and they discover that there is something much more sinister going on around the small town that Reverie grew up in.

These characters go through an amazing journey together & I absolutely love the concept of the Dreamwalker that is explored in this story. I also love that this is a stand alone reverse harem, I haven't read one before and the story is perfectly wrapped up and developed within the single book. Such an amazing story & one that I will keep coming back to reread in the future.

BASIC FACTS:
Pages: 338
My rating: 3
Genre: fantasy
Themes: Ghosts, dreamwalker, Seheraum
Protagonist Ages: older than 20
Pacing: slow burn and slow pacing

Reverie is the towns pariah. She lost any person she loved. Her Grandmother, then her father, mother and every single friend she had, doped into deep dreamless sleep. Some woke up, some did not. Nobody knows the reason but they think that Reverie is connected to this, because she knew all the people who ended up sleeping in the hospital.

At the beginning the story was a bit confusing for me. But slowly thing began to unravel and it got better, less confusing. I’m glad I pushed through the beginning, because there are some ideas that were told in a unique way. I enjoyed the story, but other than the spoiler at the beginning, I won’t spoil more, because you need to go blind into the story.

Kaydence’s Evelyn Maynard series is one of my favorite PNR reads so I was super excited when I learned she was releasing another paranormal romance.

What was most intriguing about this book is the incredibly unique concept, and I can honestly say I’ve never read anything like this before. Reverie & Redemption features dreamwalkers and the mystery surrounding the young woman who can interact with them when no one else can. Reverie is quirky and sarcastic and has a good sense of humor despite being dealt a shitty hand in life. She is unfairly judged and treated harshly by the people of her town and I really felt her struggle.

Enter Sinan, Hollis and Oskar, our dreamy dreamwalkers, who I absolutely loved! Each character was unique with an intriguing backstory. I only wish we had more time with Rev and her dreamwalkers because those steamy scenes are crazy hot!

The plot is mysterious and engaging and definitely kept me guessing. The reveal of the villain was completely unexpected.

Overall, I really enjoyed this unique paranormal reverse harem read from Kaydence Snow. I would love to see more from these characters and this world.

I find reverse harem books are hit or miss for me. In fact, I’m extremely picky with them. I need to feel the connection to all the characters, to feel they all play a part, and I often find myself wishing there had been more. After hearing so many good things about Kaydence Snow, I decided to give the author’s Reverie and Redemption a read.

Without a doubt, this is how reverse harem should be done. It was such a unique story, and I could not get enough of it. I was sucked in by every character, by the way the story developed, and by each new aspect of the world that was uncovered. Each detail kept me hooked, sucked in deep, and I could not put the book down. There is no doubt that this was an original story that has me wanting to read more of the author’s work.

All in all, I’m glad I decided to give Kaydence Snow a read. I’ll certainly be reading more in the future.

Kaydence snow is new author to me and her book Reverie and Redemption is mind blowing reverse harem paranormal story that make me  hooked from the first page. I can admit that I never have read such a book with such a storyline, but i will definitely  continue.

Reverie is one lonely girl, who have no one by her side, and anyone in her home town fear from here.
She have one special newfound gift that she beginnin to learn about it and learn how to control it,when three voices is starting to show up and to become our Dreamwalker.

Hollis,Oskar and Sinan are one really killer combination for which i die.
They was really what Revier needed in her life. I love how they care and was so  protective toward her.
This was for sure one unique paranormal romance with enough hot moments that I enjoy, and now that I finished her I want more!

Reverie & Redemption is a paranormal RH standalone and I can honestly say this is unlike anything I’ve read before, in the best possible way. I’m going to keep this review a little vague because I think it really helps to discover as you read …

Reverie is the town outcast because people around her continue to fall in an endless sleep. It started at a young age with her dad and has been happening for years, so the towns people avoid her at all costs.

It’s a lonely life, until she starts hearing voices and thinks she’s losing her mind. Turns out those voices belong to three Dreamwalkers - Hollis, Oskar, and Sinan. And they’re trying to figure out what’s going on to the people around Reverie … and why she can talk to them.

I really liked the conflict in the story and Reverie herself, strong, vulnerable, yet determined. The guys were amazing and I loved learning more about them. The steam was wicked hot and I chemistry was SO good!!!

But the best part was the premise. I honestly think Kaydence created this dynamic world that has you curious for answers and rooting for a timeless love story.

For my PNR fans, this is definitely one to check out!!

It's a rare occasion for me to stumble upon a standalone RH novel - which is the main reason I chose Reverie and Redemption as my next read after an exhausting exam session that left me never wanting to see written word again. I needed something light, a quick no brainer read, a story that isn't split into +5 parts. Interesting premise is what "sealed the deal".

I can freely say I enjoyed Reverie and Redemption, although I made a lengthy pause about 70% in. It's not the most exciting book ever, I admit it is sometimes on the boring side (it's not action-packed, it's simply story-driven, for me it works out either way), but the mystery makes up for everything, as well as the characters.

I didn't catch myself having strong feelings for any of the characters, although Sinan, Hollis and Oskar are all friendly, loveable and interesting. Reverie is a good FMC, she's down to earth, but overall there's nothing too interesting about her other than the fact she sees people who aren't there lol.

The romance is slow-paced, it felt natural after a certain point, spicy after that, but what kept me reading is the plot and the mystery behind all these people falling asleep and staying that way for years. I wasn't disappointed by it, it really was interesting, but also sad.

The weakest point of the book is the ending, the build-up lasted for 30 chapters and everything was resolved so quickly, some questions went unanswered, there were some plot holes and some logical issues, but overall I was satisfied with how things were wrapped up, there wasn't any other possibility, really.

This is one of those stories that will forever leave a make on your heart! This author has this amazing way with words, works building and her characters give you all the feels. Reverie god my heart went out to her the fierce front that she puts on to make it through day by day when really she is such a sweet souls who is utterly alone. Then enters our guys who I must say I completely fell in love with from the very first moment. The loyalty and the amount they all care for Rev is undeniable. The melted together so well. These three guys begin to show Rev just how strong and amazing she truly is! Their chemistry was fire the steam was sexy. These four truly were meant for one another They all just melted my little black heart. This was actually my first read by this author and if this story is anything like her other stories I can’t wait to dive into more because this one right here was *chefs kiss* I loved every minute of it!

This book was very different. My initial star rating was 3. I changed it to 2 because as unique as the story was, it just didn't meet the mark for me.

This book follows Reverie the lonely outcast of the town. It appears that every person Reverie has ever cared about falls into a slumber. The doctors cannot wake them no matter how they try. Sometimes they eventually wake up and other times they aren't so fortunate.

Reverie sleepwalks and wakes up in strange place, then it happens. Another person lost to this "curse". Reverie starts to hear voices, at first they are unclear then they begin to come around consistently and clearer.

This is a paranormal reverse harem. the heroine's harem are dream walkers who are fighting ...like nightmare monsters I guess. Basically the plot is that this "monster" is the cause of this "curse" and the men are there to investigate. Once they realize that Reverie isn't the villain they begin to work to help her fight this "monster" and subsequently fall in love with her.

I couldn't get into this book. I love RH and I'm a glutton for punishment but I couldn't get behind this book.

I felt like the book was longer than it should have been and felt really drawn out. Usually in an RH romance you get to really dive into all the characters and see how they benefit the harem but I didn't catch that. I didn't think this book was particularly well written in the way it didn't capture me and the conflict itself was drawn out and resolved in such an odd way in my opinion.

I've never read from the author so perhaps I am not used to this writing style. But I didn't relate or feel drawn in by the plot or the characters.

Thank you Grey's Promotion and Kaydence Snow for the opportunity to read this ARC

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

This is a beautiful story that takes a new spin on a centuries old folktale. I was drawn in by the lush words and fell down into the rabbit hole from the very beginning and loved the entire book.

Kaydence Snow spins a gorgeous tale about forgiveness, friendship, love and redemption. A story that touches on the human condition, how people treat others when someone isn't like you, but what I loved is that Reverie never gave in to pity, spitefulness, or had a hardened heart.

Reverie has been alone most of her life. First losing her family and friends to a strange phenomenon, where those close to her fall into a strange fugue like state, sometimes awakening and sometimes not.  This strange fate caused those in the town she's lived in her entire life to distance themselves from her, even to belittle her in public. It broke my heart on how those she grew up with treated her, but Reverie never let it get her down.

Reverie has been on her own for so long, when she begins to hear voices, she thinks she's finally losing it. Little does she know that these voices belong to three men; Oskar, Hollis, and Sinan known as Dreamwalkers. Her life takes a turn once she "meets" these three guys and discovers why she's able to communicate with the apparitions. No longer lonely she has someone to talk to and figure out why her life has been plagued by a strange monster.

Oskar, Hollis, and Sinan all have their own stories and how Reverie communicates with them...well, there is a supernatural element that I enjoyed, but I also liked that it didn't overpower the plot either. The four of them grew into a relationship organically, well, as organically as a relationship like this would and the story flowed at the right pace.

Reverie has a confidence and strength that is to be revered throughout the entire book. She may be alone, but she has built a world around her where she rarely feels lonely. As she gets to know Oskar, Hollis, and Sinan she realizes how much she enjoys their friendship, but they make her see how much they treasure her. She is so strong and I love how she never gives up.

I really loved Kaydence's take on this centuries old tale and the dreamscapes she builds are quite epic. Each man also came with their own backstory that added a wonderful layer to the storytelling and gave the characters depth, which gave me, the reader, a deeper connection to the entire world.

Reverie and Redemption was so much more than I expected when I started the book and I loved the entire story.

Thank you to Grey's Promotions and Kaydence Snow for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I fell in love with Kaydence's writing when I read her Evelyn Maynard Trilogy a few years ago, so when I found this ARC on my Kindle I was thrilled to be back in one of her worlds.

My absolute favorite aspect of this standalone is the idea of Dreamwalkers or Sandmen as Reverie continually refers to them. It's an idea that I have not read about and I think the spin she put on it was perfect. We meet Reverie when she has woken up in the middle of the forest, alone in only her old shirt and raggedy underwear. She's managed to sleep walk miles away from her home and now has to worry about who will be the next person to fall into an unexplainable sleep.

For years, she's been alone and never able to be close to anyone for fear that whatever curse she has will put those she cares about into a coma without explanation. Reverie is a spitfire with her sarcasm and wit, making her a great heroine. I love that while she believes she's a tad bit nutty for hearing voices, she's rolls with it and begins interacting with them even more.

The guys, Oskar, Sinan and Hollis are great heroes because of their uniqueness. Kaydence wrote three guys from all different time periods that while on paper shouldn't mesh well, come together to create a brotherhood to support Reverie. Oskar with his gentle and brilliant mind, Sinan with his dark, commanding presence and Hollis with his sunshine and jokes make Reverie realize that she's stronger than she ever could have believed and loved beyond anything she dared hope for.

The spice and group activities in this book are sure to make you blush. There is no shortage of steam and smut! Their journey from meeting in the Dreamworld to fighting side by side in the waking world progresses beautifully with the growth of their relationship as a group. The final showdown with the monster they've all been hunting was exciting and also heartbreaking, just the right mix of suspense and relief. I found myself reading long into the night and having crazy dreams of my own. It was different from what I've been reading and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Side note, that cover is stunning, right?!

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Kaydence Snow!

Reverdie and Redemption is a standalone, Paranomal Romance and Reverse Harem mix about Reverie and her Dreamwalkers.

When I read the synopsis of Reverie and Redemption, I didn’t know what to expect. The story sounded so interesting and I didn’t really know how the story was going to go. I’m so happy that I picked up this book because it was so original and unique. I really liked learning more about the Dreamwalkers and discovering Reverie’s abilities. I think that Reverie Redemption was such an amazing book with such an interesting story and interesting characters.

Reverie and her Dreamwalkers, Hollis, Oskar and Sinan, will forever hold a place in my heart. I really liked reading in Reverie’s POV, and learning more about her and her men. I enjoyed reading about how their friendship turned into more and how they got their happy ending. I think Reverie and I could be such good friends and we’d make fun about her Dreamwalkers, lol.

Reverie and Redemption is such a well-written Paranormal Romance and I really enjoyed the PNR x RH mix. I think that Kaydence Snow did such a good job with this book, and I would love to read a novella about Reverie and her men. I’m so going to miss them! I recommend Reverie and Redemption if you’re looking for a unique story with some spicy scenes!

Mysterious things happen to people that Reverie knows and this has led to her being the town outcast. She keeps to herself and tries to avoid her small town as much as possible. She knows that there is something different about her and as she learns more about her gift, she also begins to hear three voices and meets her Dreamwalkers.

I loved Reverie. She hasn’t had it easy and is an outcast in her small town, yet she kind of shrugs it off for the most part and tries not to let it get to her. My heart broke for her though, because she kept herself away from everyone and wouldn’t let anyone get close to her for the fear that they will fall into a coma and never wake up again. Hollis, Oskar and Sinan are all so different but also work so well with each other and with Reverie. I loved getting to know each of the men. I loved learning about their pasts and who they are. The three of them needed each other, but they also needed Reverie and she needed them.

This story was intriguing and different. I loved the suspense and mystery aspect of this story. It had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what or who was behind everything. There is a ton of chemistry between Reverie and each of the guys. They each of a different connection to each other, but they all work so well together and perfectly balance each other out.

If you’re looking for a suspenseful, paranormal, RH this is one to read!

Gah! This book was so unlike anything I’ve ever read and I honestly loved it. The book is about lucid dreams, dreamwalkers, and a mystery following the female character.

Reverie is amazing. She’s quirky and honestly just a spitfire of a woman. Her inner dialogue along with talking to herself had me laughing out loud more times than I could count. Even though she is shunned by everyone, she keeps her head held high and stays spunky.

Sinan, Hollis, and Oskar are the dreamwalkers. I loved each of them and their unique backstory’s we caught little glimpses of.

The storyline, to me, felt more focused on empowering and overcoming hard times than the romance aspect - don’t get me wrong there was romance and some panty melting scenes for sure, but the story was focused on Reverie. The plot was mysterious and engaging and the big reveal honestly blind sided me. I loved the turn of events and how things played out.

This was my first read by the author but definitely will not be my last; I loved the writing style and how easily I fell into the world which I tend to find struggle with in PNR books.
