A PUSH Novella

So you fell in love with your daughter’s boyfriend?

What happens next?

I’ll tell you… You finally begin to live again.

You take trips, celebrate anniversaries, and attend your first Pride parade as an out-and-proud polyamorous throuple, apparently.

Life isn’t perfect for you now that you’ve had a brand new happily ever after. In fact, far from it. But you make it work. You find your way through the jealousy and the unrest of people who don’t understand your quirky little family.

And most importantly, you love. You love so hard there’s no possible way only one partner could handle it all.

It’s a damn blessing I found two.

**PULL is a continuation of PUSH. It is not advised to read it without having read PUSH first, otherwise the ending of PUSH will be spoiled.**

Fucking hate this Book🤩🤩only cares about the men

AND AGAIN YOU REALIZE THAT THE BOOK IS ONLY ABOUT RYAN AND BEN 😀😀😀
IT'S STARTING REALLY DISRESPECTING TO CALL THIS BOOK AN MMF🤣🤣 BECAUSE JESS isnt a part of this relationship she just takes care of the baby like What the fuck? I hate the way Nyla dosnt give a fuck about Jess and always shows her as a House wife……Let's get to my huge hatred for the most double standard and hypocritical book character I've ever seen BEN LOCKWOOD, the guy is so disgusting, judges everyone even though he does exactly the same things?? I've hated him since the moment he cheated on his wife (who was married to him for 19 fucking years) with his daughter's fucking boyfriend??? how can you be such a disrespectful person but then he always claims "you are the most important person in my life hailey" if that's really true he wouldn't have pulled the whole shit. I love that she was kinda mad (in a funny way) and made jokes about Ben stealing another boyfriend of hers cause her whole reaction was so overlooked in Push??
BACK TO THE BOOK Ryan is lowkey sweet and nice to everyone, my favorite character or rather the only one i like Was TATE ECKHARD he is damn funny and deserves his own book also the only exciting thing about this book was his love story with Lance for real

Short Review: Nyla K is only interested in Ryan and Ben's relationship and the book was Mid

I didn't remember how deeply I loved these three till I read this. Push had so much angst and I still felt a little conflicted about Jess. This book settled that for me. It's so obvious how much these three love each other although the chemistry between Ryan and Ben is really extraordinary. And the sex? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵

Hailey's new boyfriend and the interactions and jokes there made me lol

I was so happy to revisit this throuple. One of the best MMF/MFM and all combinations in between I've read

Merged review:

Cue the tissues and extra knickers. Pull is emotional, hot, and steamy. Plus all the extras you don't want to miss out on.

Ben, Ryan, and Jessica will forever have a place in my heart. They are and forever will be my favorite throuple.

In Pull, we read how they celebrate many firsts and life together after Push. Pride is a wild ride. Steamy and couldn’t help but laugh a time or two. The first anniversary and a few other surprises, and I was pumped up during the novella. Jessica is my hero. I'm always in awe of her love, understanding, and her open mind,

I may have jumped up from my chair with sheer excitement at the end. I adored the ending; There is also an open ending for Tate. I hope he eventually gets his own story. IF you haven't read Push, start now and then read Pull. You will not be disappointed

I think Ben and Ryan would be just fine if Jess wasn't in the picture. But even tho this was a lot shorter I still didn't care for it.

PULL WAS LIKE COMING HOME!!!

Push is the full-length novel while this is a companion novel of sorts that has several different stories as well as Ben, Ryan & Jess's first Pride Parade together. You must read Push before you can read Pull.

Push was my first venture into the world of Nyla K as well as one of my first MMF reads. I had no idea what I was getting into, but this story changed the way I see so many things. Such as how it is very possible to love more than one person, how you can't help who you love or when that love happens. The one thing I will always credit this book and Nyla for is showing me who I love is OK, no matter who that is. If you haven't read Push you need to because it will weave its way into your heart and make you need to change your panties.

Reading Pull was like seeing those you love after spending so much time apart. They are still the people you want to hold on to and cherish but you also see how they have grown. Nyla released a bit of this story for Pride 2021, but this is the full shebang. You get so much more with this novella than you did with the one she sent out last summer. Even if you have read Pull, this is more so much more.

Jess doesn't get enough credit, and I was one of those people at first but by the end of Push and throughout this novella she is the steady rock. She holds Ben and Ryan together even if
we don't realize it.

Ben & Ryan going through the Pride Parade together was one of my favorite parts of this novella because it was fun! We got the HEA and yes, there are bound to be troubles afterwards but we got to see them living their best life.

If you are like me and don't celebrate Valentines, this is the perfect story to get you feeling all the lovey feels! If you are reading this after Valentines, then this is the perfect novella to catch up with your favorite trio. I am still holding out on hope that we haven't seen the last of them because even with this beautiful novella I don't think I will ever be ready to let go of Ben, Ryan and Jess.

Ben, Ryan and Jessica held a big spot in my heart because Push was one of my first english reading.
At that time I was worried i would have not connected with them, or felt what they felt because of the language.... but Nyla, with her
captivating writing, kept me glued to the story.
So i was over the moon knowing about this novella 😍😍😍😍
Ben and Ryan' first pride.
Ben, Ryan and Jess' first anniversary.
Well, IT WAS CRAZY FUCKINTASTIC!!
They are hotter, sweeter, funnier and cuter than ever 😍😍😍
I was grinning like an idiot for the whole time reading it.
And the best thing about it ??!
It opens the door for more stories like Tate's !!!
And I want it badly; mostly because I want him to suffer a bit before i end up loving him
😏😏😏
No, wait the best thing is the surprise at the end 😏😍

Enjoyable read. Very hot. Loved catching up with all the characters. Hoping Tate finds his HEA. Didn't enjoy as much as the 1st book, but still pretty good. 🔥😊

4.75 stars. IT'S NYLA K, DO I NEED TO SAY MORE?? I gobble up everything this woman writes with a primal, insatiable hunger from the bottom of my bloodthirsty, queer AF soul.

I thought this was book #2 rather than #1.5, so I was sad when the pre ordered novel popped up in my Audible labeled as such, but desperate to get more of this fabulous throuple story. Please God, if you're listening, send me more queer throuple books, I need them!!

This book was.. Think Court of Frost and Starlight, except switch winter solstice with a lot of sex and overwhelmingly positive feelings about father/motherhood.

Nyla, you gave exactly what I needed and I love you for it. Thank you for the fabulous hours of marital bliss and the teaser of Tate and Lance (?). Can't wait to see the straight, married priest beg for the emotionally unavailable f boy!

Pull is everything we didn't know we needed. The trio+the babe take on their first pride. It's absolutely everything you would expect from them - it's heartwarming sweet and panty dropping sexy. Push was my very first Nyla book, so these characters will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved this novella so much.

SPOILERS: This will be a joint review of Push & Pull (1.5)

MMF, MÉNAGE, AGE-GAP, CHEATING

This was porn without plot which I hate & I hate that I didn’t like this book because I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve read by Nyla K, but Push & Pull didn’t do it for me AT ALL. This book was unnecessarily long with a lack of plot & mainly consisted of cringy sex scenes & even cringier dialogue.

I’ll start with the Audio, it was bad, really bad. Ben’s character sounded like Batman & not in the good growly way. The sex scenes were absolutely cringeworthy & this was due to part dialogue, part performance. It was like listening to amateur porn & I’m an avid Audible listener that mostly reads dark romance/why choose so when I say it’s cringy, I mean it. I got through Double Edged with a straight face IYKYK

Now don’t get me started on this relationship dynamic, it was absolutely awful. Jess is insignificant to the story, she felt like a 3rd wheel. There’s a book called Joyless by the same author which was similar that involved a MM relationship with a female 3rd wheel as well. I think maybe I’ll stick to the MM only dynamic when it comes to this author.

TBH this felt like Ben found the true love of his life in Ryan & Jess became the 3rd wheel, same goes for Ryan finding Ben & just accepting Jess as part of the Ben package. This was thoroughly solidified for me after listening to Pull, both Ben & Ryan’s inner monologues only ever talked about each other & how sad they are about losing each other. Jess rarely makes an appearance in their thought’s. You even constantly see them sneaking around to be with each other without Jess. It just seemed so unbalanced & messy. There’s a reason he blocked Ben’s number & not Jess’s number. It also seemed like Jess only went along with it because she didn’t want to lose Ben.

Jess also forgave Ben WAY too quickly & this is what made this story unbelievable for me, & yes I’m aware this is fiction ✋🏼 but there was zero buildup to Ben & Ryan’s relationship. I don’t care how intoxicated he was, to blow your 19/20 year marriage up for some random two seconds after meeting them while simultaneously saying you’re madly in love with your wife made ZERO sense. It was the ultimate betrayal, he could have had a conversation with his wife about it but this man not only cheated on you, he did it in your house, while you were sleeping, with your daughter’s BF. Like I’m sorry but be so fucking for real right now, the straight disrespect was out of control. Same can be said for Haley, like noway is she just okay with what transpired no matter how much you were into this man or not. It also bothered me that Haley wasn’t told till the epilogue & then forgave them & slapped a bow on it way too quickly. For being this long of a book you would think the main person to be hurt by this relationship would be told before the end. Like how do you go get this man, go on vacation, get married & still not tell your daughter that you claim to be so close to.

The ending was also so rushed for being this long of a book, the way Ryan uprooted his life & dropped everything & left was ridiculous. He left his Aunt who helped him when he needed someone most, dropped out of school, & became a stay at home dad that has a hobby of fixing old cars, it was insane & made his character seem extremely naive.

Obviously this book wasn’t for me but don’t disregard this author’s other work, because For the Fans & Doubled Edged (this one is definitely not for everyone) were amazing books!

Side Note: Distributing porn without your partner’s knowledge is wild & it didn’t just happen once, it happened twice 🤦🏻‍♀️

Man did I miss Ben and Ryan! I saw this released early and I legit dropped everything and paused every book I am reading to run grab this one! Not only do we get to see what happened in between the Christmas Eve party and Thailand we also get to see a little of what happens with their friends being told about this new relationship. It was all the things I didn't even know I was missing from the first book. Fast forward a little bit and we get to experience Ben and Ryan's first Pride outing which is so amazing to see them out and able to be themselves with zero worry. As they navigate this freedom we get to see them fall even more in love and share that love with Jessica. Don't get me wrong we all love that Jessica is a part of this but let's be real we are all really here for Ben and Ryan. Which we get absolutely no shortage of scorching hot moments from them along the way! Once again my kindle screen was fogging up from all the heat they were creating haha! Let me just say prepare yourself for these two in the shed... WHEW! Best thing ever! I am so excited to see what else Nyla comes up with for them since it seems there will be more written at some point based on the way this one ended. I sure hope so because I cannot get enough of Ben and Ryan!!!

Love me some Ryan and Ben! Jess still a third wheel

3.75……It was great to catch up with Ben, Ryan, and Jess. It’s nice to see that they are still madly in love and enjoying marriage. This novella was not only super cute and fun, but because it’s Nyla K….it was hoooooooot🥵 Ben and Ryan together is everything!

As I’ve stated in my review for Push, the same stands here in Pull, Jess seems like a third wheel. She’s like a maid/babysitter. We have to be reminded that Jess even is apart of this “throuple”. She’s such a sweetheart and really wants the best for the guys and I wish that she meshed better with Ryan and Ben, or developed as a supportive ex wife.

This is a novella continuation of push.
This just reminded me of a long epilogue.
Love to her more pov of Jessica but again the main focus was on the men again. They’re connection is addictive and I just wanted more basement time 😂

Overall it was quick and just gave more of a where are they now vibe.

*SPOILERS BECAUSE, I CANT NOT WITH THIS ONE*

"You're mine baby. You've always been mine."

WOW. We can always count on Nyla K to blow our socks, clothes and minds can we not?! And also may I point out that this is mentioned everywhere that it is a NOVELLA, but honey Nyla K does not know how to write small. She doesnt know how to make anything small if you get what I am saying. She likes them girthy and for that, I AM FOREVER OBSESSED. This book was the longest, thickest, widest novella I have ever read and I👏🏼AM👏🏼HERE👏🏼 FOR👏🏼IT!!!!!
The ache, sorrow and longing in the very first chapter got to me hard. I mean, the book started with a BANG in a never before seen chapter and although it was sad it was NEEDED and I am so glad we got to see that!
Then that second chapter? Another NEVER BEFORE SEEN CHAPTER that was sweet but also brought some anxiety when they told everyone. It was entirely wholesome and warmed my freaking heart tenfold.
And then the third chapter. Which I must say, I love that Nyla added three surprise chapters in all three characters POV'S so each one got a new outlook on things for us all. This author just knows exactly the right thing to do to make us love her and her work more and more. Moving on to chapter three. Which was the HOTTEST FREAKING NEVER BEFORE SEEN CHAPTER OF THEM ALL. Seeing Jessica watching her husbands at first got ME hot and I was like "go girl, go get your men hurry hurry" but then I was also like "come on Ryan, stick it in real quick, just the tip" (Also I must say, when Jessica/Nyla said how big they were I was drooling. THAT is why I said Nyla likes her men/books big. And THAT is why I will forever be a fan. Because I like em big too HEHEHEE But back to the review, OMG the moment both guys looked over at her, I lost it. I could literally SEE them in my head. They looked SO insatiable, their eyes glazed over, their lust shining in their eyes and then it became an "all 3 of us" thing and not a "just the 2 of us" thing. AND IT WAS MAGNIFICENT. It was one of the hottest in-the-moment threesome instances I have read to be honest. Jesus, the moment she was holding B open for R..I LOST IT AGAIN. About threw my freaking kindle. But I didn't. Because I knew I needed that sucker to finish the rest HAHAHA

So, that was the surprise never before seen chapters, WOAH AND WHAT A RIDE THAT WAS! And here we have the Pride Parade! YAY!

It started out so cute and sweet, them having their son with them, celebrating everything incredible that IS pride. And then Jess goes away with Ethan giving the two men alone time and we get everything incredible that IS Ryan and Ben. I could not love two men more than I love these two guys. So much so to where it is just hard to explain the alluring connection these two men have. It makes my heart drop when they're alone together, it is a crazy thing. But then they had to go and ruin that dopey love feeling I had and gave me some major anxiety when Tate came back into the picture and invited them to that party. I was like WHAT ARE YALL DOING??? I was afraid something bad would happen because we all know how Nyla K is. She likes to make us sweat, whether it is through sexual tension or murderous situations LOL
Speaking of sexual tensions, man. The dirty talk during sex in this book was out of this world, Had me wishing I was a man at times. That scene outside the club? When the guys were watching? THAT SCENE WAS FIRE!!!!!!! Is there a single sex scene in this novella that DIDN'T make your fire alarm go off too? Please answer that!
But I am going to also say that it wasn't just the guy's sex that had me like that (although if you know me you know that MM is my absolute fave) Because the shower scene with Jess had me squirming and peeking over at my shower 275034 times during the entire read through.
There is so much sex in this book, I think it may be my favorite LOLOLOL the sex scene with Ryan and Ben and the camera and the "Daddy" LITERALLY made me fall on the floor. yes I was being dramatic. I just...cannot get over ann the good sex in this book. Like, WHAT WAS SHE THINKING DOING ALL THIS TO ME????? All the porn stuff, then the funny Tate stuff, the Hailey stuff. It was ALLL so so good and I cannot wait for MORE books from Nyla K like this!!

It's all for him. Everything.

Then we have THE VACATION!! ahh I loved loved loved that little ending!!! I ABSOLUTELY love reading all the sex (pssh we all know this by now with this long winded sex review basically) but seeing how amazing of a father Ben is with Ethan was just the icing on the cake for me at the end of this. He was so adorable. Seeing all three of them as a family just wanted me to see them have more kids and never get old. I also loved that Nyla wrote a sentence saying "Not even a prison could keep us apart" or something like that. LOL it reminded me of her MM prison series (AKA CHECK IT OUT IF YOU HAVENT. THE FIRST BOOK IS CALLED DISTORTED AND IT IS INNNCREDDIBLLEEEEE)
Last but not least, Nyla K will take you for the ride of a lifetime with this book. haha. If you read this book you will get that sentence at the end of the review. Also, I am wondering if we are going to be getting a book with Tate and Lance??? All in all, a massive 5 star story!!!!!! LOVED THIS IMMENSELY!!!!!

Y’all this novella was so smutty, I’m just over here blushing.

I absolutely loved getting to see Jess, Ben, and Ryan again. I really enjoyed their book Push, so when I saw this novella was releasing right on time for Valentine’s Day, I was so excited.

It was soooo good. So absolutely smutty with some sweet moments and hilarity mixed in. Def read if you enjoyed Push!

“You came into our lives for a reason, Ryan. And you… you became my reason for everything else.”

Pull was not what I was expecting. I thought it was a continuation of Push, but it was deleted/bonus scenes and a short story. I'm not complaining though because I loved it all the same. I can't get enough of Jess, Ben, and Ryan!!! 😍

I got to 54% and I just had to give up.
Like the first book, Jess is just there somewhere in the background. The whole book or rather the first 54% don't give anything to the story. This should have ended with the first book.
