He’s been accused of only dating celebrities. She’s a simple line dance instructor in small town Coral Canyon, with a soft spot for kids...and cowboys. Trace could use some dance lessons to go along with his love lessons... Can he and Everly fall in love with the beat, or will she dance her way right out of his arms?

Trace Young is the quiet powerhouse of the Young family. He’s crazy talented with a guitar, and he has a voice as smooth as velvet. After his son’s mother abandoned him, he’s raising Harry alone, determined to be the boy’s champion at all costs.

He meets Everly Avery through a dating app, and she’s the first woman who’s sparked anything inside Trace’s heart in years. After their near-perfect first date, he can’t wait to see her again.

Everly Avery is new in town, trying to establish her dance studio and help her older brother get his catering business off the ground in small-town Coral Canyon, all while keeping an eye on her younger brother as he goes off to college for the first time. She’s also Trace’s complete opposite. He’s tall and quiet, and she’s petite and bubbly. They get along like magic, though, and she’s surprised he tells her he can’t see her again after what she thought was a great date.

It was a great date, but Harry insists that Trace go out anyone but her. The teen takes dance lessons from her, as do the majority of his friends, and they all tease him about his dad dating Everly. He has a hard enough time fitting in because of Trace’s country music star status, and he begs his dad to find someone else.

So that’s that. Except Trace can’t stop thinking about Everly. He doesn’t like anyone else he goes out with. When Everly brings the food for an event his younger brother has, they come face-to-face again.

And this time, they come up with a plan.

They’ll simply keep their relationship a secret.

Trace is happier than ever in his love life, but miserable at home with his son. He won’t be able to keep up the charade for long, and he’ll have to decide how to break the news to Harry without losing Everly. Can the three of them find a way to become a family? Or will they each lose everything when the truth comes out?

Read this forbidden love story and find your place in the beloved Young family of brothers and continue the family saga in Coral Canyon in TRACE, which is filled with clean and Christian romance, single dads, dancing, and all the belonging you could hope for.

To me, this book was all about how one family struggled to balance the needs of the group with those of the individual, as Trace and Everly worked to maintain their connection in the face of resistance from Trace’s son and everything else going on in their families. I love how this author’s work shows that families and communities are living, growing organisms; that one small change in one place can have a larger impact on the whole. I’m also really liking that the author has given the Young family some challenges you don’t often see in Christian fiction to overcome. For my mind and heart, that makes these characters seem all the more real and I can’t wait to see how this plays out in the rest of the series.

Trace is one of the Young brothers and a member of Country Quad. He is considered the calm brother but his patience waiting on his son Harry to be ok with him dating Everly had ran out. They had tried dating once and Harry did not approve, and they tried again doing the slipping around dating and could not do it as it felt wrong. But, when Trace seen her at Morris wedding he kissed her and they told Harry and started dating. He and Everly are falling in love and she don't won't to wait another 18 months to get married.

Jem is also back from Vegas where he and Blaze were in the rodeo. Blaze is trying to lose his bad boy reputation and has met Faith. He really likes Faith but she still sees the bad boy in him. He is going to have back surgery to help his back problems from the rodeo days. Jem is taking his new life with his two small kids by leaving them with one of his brothers and going out getting drunk and having several women around him that he usually would go home with one. He was so hung over of the mornings he did not take care of his kids and the brothers had to go to his home to get his son on the bus and his toddler ready to take with them.

Morris is happy being married to his ex wife Leigh again raising their three year old son. He likes managing Country Quad and has already set up to take his family with him on tour next summer. Leigh wants to open a bakery and she asks Morris to go to Jackson Hole to check out the bakery there for sale. Gabe has ran into Shelly, Morris NFL press manager, and he is playing Morris. He gets caught outside that bakery in Jackson Hole when Morris shows up. When she sees there are two of them she knows Gabe has tricked her.

Bryce comes home from Montana and has brought his demons with him. He won't talk to anyone about it. Tex and Abby is concerned but wants to give him a chance to tell them on his own. They now have baby Melissa and both living the sleepless nights and loving it.

Otis and Georgia find out that Georgia cannot carry a baby. They are heartbroken but still have Joey to raise. They talk to Gabe about adoption. But before the summer is over Bryce will tell o his family what is wrong and then he will ask a huge request of Georgia and Otis.

Luke enjoys the massages he gets from Sterling. When he sees her at the grocery he knows he is ready to ask a woman out again. But he can't seem to get the nerve to ask her out. When he passes out at the gym, he wakes up in the hospital and when he asks his beautiful doctor for her number she writes it on the back of her card and she tells him to use it soon.

Mav and Dani are raising their kids and helping out with the single Young brother's kids so they can go out. He has been the glue that has held the brothers together and stayed in touch with Jem and Blaze when they went to Vegas and made their millions traveling around in the rodeo.

A well written continuation of the Coral Canyon Cowboys series. The story follows the relationship of Trace and Everly; but it also focuses on Harry, Trace’s son, who has issues with his father dating Everly. Although this is Trace’s story, other family members and their disappointments, secrets and struggles are exposed. Faith obviously plays a major role in all their lives and draws you into each situation. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Trace was another great addition to the Coral Canyon Cowboys. Reading about the Young brothers always seems like I am in a whirlwind of activity, but it was easy to keep track of what was going on with the brothers.

Bryce's dilemma just about broke my heart. He beat himself up so badly. The direction that situation seems to be taking makes me think there may be trouble on the horizon.

This was Trace, Ev, and Harry's story but the family is so close, I feel like each book is a Young family story. Trace did find himself in a situation he didn't expect. It tested his self confidence, his love, and his inner strength, as well as his relationships with the brothers.

TBH, there were a couple of moments when I felt like Everly was being less than understanding, and more than a bit selfish.

When the book ended, I was surprised. It seemed to be a much more abrupt ending than I expected. Yes, there was an HEA and a couple of announcements. Maybe I expected an epilogue, or something that didn't feel like "full stop".

Another good addition to the series. If you are looking for a read full of love, support, family, and faith, this is the series for you. I am looking forward to the books for Blaze, Jem, Luke, and Gabe.

The nine Young brothers are all so different but in many ways, they are very much the same. Trace’s story seemed to have more drama to it. He finds himself having to be mother and father to his young son, Harry, after he is abandoned by his mother. Harry situation has a very negative effect on this young child and Trace struggles to find a way to help him. One way is to show that he will never abandon Harry and makes sure that what makes Harry happy and feels that he is loved is always first on Trace’s agenda.

Trace meets Everly and falls in love with her but Harry doesn’t like Trace dating her. So, Trace puts his son first and stops dating her, but they find themselves back together again, only to break up again. This is really hard on Trace being torn between a girlfriend and his son. All throughout Trace’s story, you are also seeing the drama going on with his other brothers. And those things are crazy and Trace ends up having to be the one in charge. This is not easy for him as it was always Tex who took charge. Seeing if Trace, Everly and Harry can navigate through everything just makes his story more fun to read.

How Does God Finally Bring Trace and Everly to Their Lifetime 💞?

Master Storyteller, Liz Isaacson continues the "Coral Canyon Cowboys" Series in the 4th Book: "Trace: A Young Brothers Novel". This 📗 is best understood, if 📖 in Chronological Order.

Trace's life is complicated by many duties and responsibilities. Yet he yearns for a Lifetime 💞; like four of his brothers have recently found. But he's blocked from doing that. How does God work all things for Trace's good (Romans 8:28)?

Everly and Trace are strongly attracted to each other, but their romance is stopped. How does God help her wait for Trace to be available? How does she help Trace's son Harry?

I Highly Recommend You 📖 This Engrossing, Poignant, Great, Christian, Western Romantic 💎, to find the answers! I ❤️ the realistic characters. I ❤️ d that Trace listens for God's leading in his relationship with his Son, and with Everly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The second oldest Young brother finds his soul mate.

Loved being with the Young brothers and their families again. Trace and Everley story started out with a slight bump in the road. But it was remedy fairly quick. Trace and Everley story was sweet Their cutie names for each other. They had there ups and downs. As did each of the brothers. So happy that Bailey and Bryce little one will be adopted by Otis and Georgia and that Bryce will get to watch it grow up. Happy for Morris and Leighann too. Also for Wes and Cheryl. Looking forward to Blaze, Luke,Jem, Gabe story. Bryce and Harry will finish it out. Looking forward to which brother has another kid after Morris does maybe it will be Trace. All the Young men are great guys I don't have a favorite. It's been fun getting to know each one. So happy that Harry will have a mom who loves him. Both Bryce and Harry got special women in their lives after their dads remarried.

I am in LOVE with this series! Everly is not my favorite heroine, but she has a lot of good redeming qualities and once Georgia showed her the big picture she seemed to bemissing, she was better. I do love her relationship with Harry and she DOES love Trace!! Their journey was really great to read. Trace is really s strong as steady, he jsut lacks a bit of confidence in his ability to lead the family when Tex is unable to. This family has touched my heart in ways I cannot describe and I did not see this storyline with Tex's son Bryce, I do love the way it is going. This is a must read series, this book here is amazing, and the things you learn about Jem and Blaze just makes you want the next book out immediatly. That said there is no real cliff hangers, and this book like all Ms. Isaacson's books is clean and very well written.

Love the Young Brothers! Trace and Everly navigate their relationship with each other, his teenage son, her brothers, and the huge Young brothers clan. Sometimes responsibilities weigh them down and priorities seem to get messed up. You will love all of these characters and appreciate their dedication to family. I especially like that most of the main characters are more mature and though they have things in their pasts that they are not proud of they are now truly seeking God’s guidance in their lives. I’m looking forward to the other books in this series! Don’t miss this new clean, inspirational romance series from Liz Isaacson! (This is a standalone book. But if it is your first book in the series, I recommend starting at the beginning!)

I don’t know how this author, Liz Isaacson does it time after time. She has to make every women reading her books long to meet the men and the families in her books. It is like she was born to do this. Trace and Everly did not disappoint, if anything this couple’s story was even better. I still love how she throws information about all the families in each book. Her books always leaves a lingering memories about the character’s involved especially the ones that are the main focus of the book. You got to read this book and if you don’t you will miss out, big time. I was given a copy of this book and I am so glad, because I don’t have to return it and get to keep it

4.5***** stars Trace is finally home from touring and is lonely. He meets Everly on a dating app and is just smitten with her. She runs a dance school where his teenage son, Harry goes for lessons. Harry is aghast that his father is dating his teacher and forbids it. As a single dad, he takes his son’s edict to heart but he is truly missing Everly and she, him. They tried sneaking around but the guilt got to them. He sees her on occasion when she works catering jobs with her brother, a restaurant owner. Will he finally put his cards on the table with Harry and put his happiness up front?

This is a great relatable series. We are back with the Youngs and this time it is Trace’s turn to find true love but of course real life is never that simple and this time it’s his son who is against the woman he has fallen for. Everly Is new to town and is such a bubbly and happy person he’s setting up her own dance studio when she meets Trace through a dating app. After a perfect first date she doesn’t under why Trace doesn’t want to see her and so the drama ensues. Secrets, sneaking about, drama, grumpy teenagers and of course family makes this latest addition addictive and a wonderful read.

Another charming Young family story. Trace and Everly work their way through family drama, and the pressures that come with just life. I love that while Trace and Everly are the main characters, the story is about the family of 9 brothers, their children, and a country band. They love each other deeply and while they disagree and fight some times, they always come together to support each other even when that support is not wanted. It was so inspiring to watch them make mistakes and fail miserably, but cling to each other and their faith in God. I can't wait to read Blaze's story.

Wonderful addition to the series!
Heartwarming storyline and tender relationships.
Trace’s son Harry has stated his displeasure for his dad to date Everly. Trace feels God wants him to choose his son. When he sees her again at his brother’s wedding, he feels drawn to her again. Will Harry be able to see how well they work together or will he still resist the relationship? Will Trace and Everly get their chance this time?
As always this is Just about Trace, it’s about the whole family.

Really Great Series

I'm totally enjoying this series and getting to know all the Young brothers. Liz Isaacson writes characters that are so real they come alive on the pages. Trace and Everly's story captivated me from the beginning. I love that the other family members show up throughout the story so that we keep up with what is going on with all of them. It gives more of a complete story and I just love reading about their kids. A really great read that I read straight through and as always with these stories with a smile

Life Is Hard

Love is hard and family dynamics can be hard, and one always needs hope and a reason to go on. This family has had and is still having its share of problems. The thoughts and dialogs are honest and at times heartwrenching. The author doesn't shy away from hard topics and there are a few of them in this story. There is a satisfying end to some issues and a whole lot more that will be handled in books to come, I imagine. The hard part is patiently waiting for the next book.

I love this family so much. I feel like I am right there with them. This was such a great book. I loved the hard issues that had to be dealt with and how they were able to help each other. I found myself rolling my eyes, laughing and crying throughout this book. Learning and growing from your mistakes and learning how important it is to communicate was what I got from this book. I loved Trace and loved reading his story. I also liked learning about the other family members too. Can't wait to read the next book!!

This is the second book in this series I have read. I started with Morris and although I liked it, I found it hard to remember all the characters. With Trace, I feel like I am becoming a close friend and I can hang out with the family and enjoy them all. I enjoyed Trace and Everly’s story and I loved the way they worked through the family dynamics. I also love the way the characters connect with God and use prayer to seek direction without the book becoming too “preachy.”
I am anxious to read the next book in the series and find out what is happening in the lives of my friends.

I am so blessed to have found Liz Isaacson..

I am deaf. I tell that you so you understand I read a lot. I love romance and I love cowboys, most books fitting that description have some pretty graphic sex which does not interest me. Then I discovered MS Liz and believe me she has been a life saver. Her books have the cowboys I love, the romance I love and none of them are afraid to admit they love the Lord. Blaze, I am pretty sure is going to find his way into church soon.

Another great story. I love how each book is basically one couple’s story (this one is Trace and Everley) but the entire family is included. We get to follow along with all the various activities of the Young brothers and their expanding families. There is a lot of drama in this book and it really tugs on the heartstrings. I couldn’t put it down. So glad I finished reading it before bedtime. 😂

Oh yeah, things are getting good. Lol. Predictions coming true, crazy things happening, this amazing and wonderful family just keeps getting better. I always sail through these books and with they wouldn’t end and then I actually read the next book blurb -which I absolutely never do for the hundreds I read a year - because I absolutely cannot leave the characters behind! So yeah, I’m a bit obsessed with this series.

4.5 stars. This is another winner from Liz Isaacson, but I highly recommend you start with book one, Tex, just because there are a lot of brothers in the Young family and their stories are all interwoven into each book. It’s nice to be able to continue following family members throughout the series. This is a good heartwarming book about family loyalty and support, and I’m more than ready to read Blaze’s book.

I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Trace Young, part of music group Country Quad is interested in dance teacher, Everly Avery, but his son Harry is against him dating her because she is his dance teacher. They can’t help falling for each other so they date secretly until they have to tell Harry. Great range of emotions in this book, and wonderful family dynamics. Liz Isaacson is a great story teller, and this book is a nice addition to the series.

Trace and Everly met and were going out but Harry, his son, was embarrassed about it, she's the dance teacher, so they broke up. Later they go out secretly, but Trace can't manage that.
We catch up with some of the other Young brothers and learn about their problems and concerns.
Will Harry accept Everly so she and Trace can be together? Will Trace let Everly in?

Another good read in the series from Liz

A great series!!

I can't get enough of these cowboys and their significant others. The second the next book in the series is out, I read it! Liz Isaacson sure knows how to hook you with well-developed, flawed characters, a great story line, amazing romantic moments and kisses, and everything else you need for a great story. Like drama and a happy ending.

Looking forward to Blaze's story next!

Trace: A Young Brothers Novel

So glad to read the story of Trace and Everly. The series is getting better and better as it goes along. The reader learns of the entire Young family unit along with Trace, Harry, and Everly. It seems Trace and Everly are finally able to bring their relationship to light with the approval of his son, Harry. What happens when Trace’s ex wife decides to show up?

Reading Trace was kind of a whirlwind with all the family members going through something hard or painful at times, especially Bryce and Tex and Jem and Blaze. Best read in order, but Everly and Trace need their story, along with a bit of Harry. A story well told, interwoven not seamlessly but in a way we'd want our stories told, with patience and forgiveness and love. And faith. Loved it and looking forward to the next. Clean romance.

Everly and Trace have a hard time with their romance, despite their mutual attraction, but I liked that they didn’t give up. There are a lot of emotionally charged sub-stories going on also which divides Trace's time from Everly and I look forward to the next books to see how these play out. Really enjoy this series.

I like all of Liz's cowboy clean romances. Trace is no exception. He likes Everly but his son does not want him to date her. He tries to honor his wishes, but there is a magnetic force pulling them together. The families are large and all the brothers, wives, and kids play an integral part of the story as well. I received an ARC of this book and am giving an honest review.
