Super Big Brother: Finding Your Hero is told primarily through the toddler eyes of Lulu the Little, who sees her big brother, Super Sam, as her hero with his red cape always flowing behind as he helps her through daily family tasks and lessons about growing up. Super Sam can swim fast, climb high, and swing through the sky. He always saves the day whether he is helping, sharing, or showing kindness. He is the best Super Big Brother ever! Lulu the Little wishes she could be just like him.

Her debut book Super Big Brother: Finding Your Hero has earned the Golden Wizard Award for exceeding high standards and producing an outstanding children’s book in April 2023 and won the June 2023 Cover-of-the-Month contest on AllAuthor. Her second book in the series, Super Big Brother: The Big Brave School Day out in October 2023, has also won the Golden Wizard Award. Her third book will be coming out soon.
Deanna grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, living an active and outdoor life under the African sun. As the youngest of three siblings, she was immersed in both Greek and South African traditions, family gatherings, and delicious traditional foods.
She started writing in verse ten years ago while simultaneously studying the interaction of her two children. She wrote down those experiences and forged them into themes for her books. The lead title being Super Big Brother: Finding Your Hero. The series focuses on sibling bonds and reminding children to be sibling strong and encouraging kindness, sharing, and caring.
Deanna spreads her own kindness and enjoys donating her books to REACH-A-Child, which helps First Responders comfort children-in-crisis. She is also part of the Hindis Libraries Author Affiliate Program whose mission is to donate books to children in need to encourage literacy and love for reading.
Over the years, Deanna’s interest to explore settled her in three more countries: England, Canada, and the USA.
Now living permanently in the USA, she explores the children’s world of imagination and learning, while writing children’s books continues to be her passion.

Very empowering children book
This book is extremely cute and would build any huge brother feel super vital. good once the eldest is adapting to a second kid. Illustrations square measure terribly cute too!!

I absolutely loved this book. The story is so adorable told through the eyes of two young siblings Lulu ane her brother Sam. The older siblings will learn to take care of their younger siblings and practice patience, kindness and love with the help of this book. Author takes the readers on a creative adventure which will remind them about the sweet memories of their childhood.
The book is really cute and creative, the illustrations are really cute, even I fell in love with the beautiful graphics. I'm sure kids will definitely love this book. Looking forward to the continuing adventures of Lulu and super Sam. Do buy this precious book to your little ones, they will love it.

A Charming Sweet Story

What a great book! Beautiful in lots of ways too.
Watching my niece completely dote on her older brothers as a toddler too, makes this story so relatable to me too. I love the fact that it is based on the author’s own children.
Meet Sam. who is a super brother to his little sister Lulu in many ways. Through bright and attractive illustrations that capture the fun they have and care from her brother, this story emphasises the love that siblings can show each other, and also encourages children to take care of their younger family members too.

This fun read reminded me of my two when they were younger. Great story that highlights the special bond between siblings. Seeing her big brother through Lulu’s eyes you really get a glimpse of love that bond has created between the two main characters. What an awesome book! The illustrations are so wonderfully done and my kiddos loved trying to find Lulu’s teddy bear on each page.
A sibling bond is so special and was depicted beautifully throughout this book. It is a must have if you are bringing home a new baby sister or for any super hero big brothers.

Such a sweet story about siblings! A sweet story of a little sister who adores her big brother. I really love the authors fun take on it. This is so well written. And I was really happy to see the "real" children behind this story at the end. This is a must have for any parent. Highly recommend

#1 Bro Love Love Love
This sweet book is about a big brother’s undeniable bond with his little sister. He is a hero in her eyes as he teaches her how to love and be kind to others. The illustrations are absolutely adorable as is the teddy bear that appears on every page to make you giggle. The clever rhyming pages keep the reader engaged and the story is very well written! Wonderful family read!

You will immediately realize, from reading the dedication, a special book is in hand. With big and bright illustrations, the flowing rhymes express a Five-Star story that portrays sibling admiration in such a way, children of all ages will love. “Super Big Brother: Finding Your Hero” is a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to siblings everywhere. As an older brother myself, I was moved by the story. Lulu the Little’s love and respect for her big brother Super Sam is palpable and leaps off the pages. The illustrations are warm and authentic, reinforcing the warmth of the story. This is such a good book with a great theme - Big brother loves little sister and she adores him. He is kind and caring to her, and he takes time to play with her and teach her things. In return, Lulu wants to be just like her big brother. I really enjoyed reading what a relationship these two have! I'm excited to read book 2 when it comes out!

My two daughters loved this sibling inspired book, and could both see themselves in it. It’s a fun, rhyming story with great pictures - my youngest loved spotting the teddy on each page! I highly recommend this sweet book!

This is a very cute book with colorful illustrations, nice rhymes, and a very sweet message about sibling relationships. The book was well thought out and fun to read. I enjoyed reading it with my four-year-old and I hope other parents will as well!

Super Big Brother, by Deanna Bussadori is a beautifully illustrated and engaging book! Sam is the older brother to Lulu the Little, he is PATIENT, KIND, and CARING with her. Sam plays with Lulu, reads to her, and helps her with just about everything! Lulu adores her older brother and wants to be just like him. I LOVE this book, it shows a perfect example of how we all want our children to treat each other! This is a GREAT book to read to all children to gently guide them with positive and loving examples of sibling behavior. A MUST READ!

Deanna Bussadori has written a fabulous children’s book. It’s ADORABLE! The illustrations are cheerful and full of colorful, eye catching images. The story is chock full of vignettes, demonstrating the closeness between siblings big brother Sam, and little sister, Lulu. Sam models kindness, love, and something we all need: a person we can rely on. He is Lulu’s super hero. The story is endearing. I would definitely suggest buying the paperback version—your kiddo will want to carry this around with them!Five stars.

This is a wonderful feel good book about a little sister who looks up to and adores her big brother, and he adores his little sister too! Great to encourage happy and healthy sibling bonds. Written in rhyme, it is fun to read with bold, colourful illustrations. My daughter particularly enjoyed finding the picture of the teddy on each page and she also loved the pages with pictures of clocks on them. It was good practice at telling the time. A lovely, upbeat read.

This is such a cute book! The big brother is such a great role model to his little sister. He shows so much love and kindness. I love the rhyming in the story too! The illustrations are very cute! Certain words in the text are highlighted and in color which is beneficial for early readers. Loved it!

This is such a sweet story with beautiful illustrations. The older brother Sam reminded me of my nephew's relationship with his much younger sister (Lulu the LIttle in this book). Sam shows kindness and patience when Lulu the Little comes looking for him. This is a great book for any family that has siblings, no matter the age difference.
