We Are Destiny

Rate this book
I’ve been in love with Ivy Sinclair since as long as I can remember. But she’s only ever seen me as her best friends little brother.

When she came out as an Alpha, she took off to Calling Wood to start her new life and found her pack, leaving me behind to pine after her.

When I came out as an Omega, my heart broke because the only Alpha I could ever want, was unavailable.

I’m 21 now and it’s time for me to go to Calling Wood and I plan on avoiding her as much as possible for my own sanity.

That’s harder said then done when my sister is so involved with both our lives.

To make matters worse, I catch a whiff of Ivy’s scent.

Unable to cope with all the pain my heart and soul feel, dark thoughts cross my mind, things I never thought I’d think about doing.

Just as I think of ending it all, a little blonde pixie of an Omega takes my hand and brings me home. Opening my life up to a whole new world of possibilities.

Will I get everything I ever hoped for? Or is it all just to good to be true?

*We are Destiny by Alisha Williams*

1.5/5 ⭐
.5/5 🌶️

**Tropes**
- Broken MMC
- Scent match
- Polyamory
- Childhood crush to lover
- Best Friend's little brother

📖 **My Thoughts**
This book did not live up to what I was expecting from the blurb. I have quite a few things that I did not like too much so I will say what I did like. I did like the Broken MMC moments. The mental health aspects hit that part of me that I enjoy reading in many of the dark books I gravitate to. Now, Omegaverse is my comfort genre so I have read plenty of novels in this genre. Where this book differs is that, it does not rope you in like it should. This book was written in a way that is telling you rather than showing you and immersing you into the story. I felt like I was being told a bunch of things instead of watching them develop. This was highlighted when the characters are scent matched and the pre-established relationships come into play. I am supposed to believe that there is love between the established pack but it wasn't shown to me. just told. Not to mention, instead of giving off loving relationships the pack gave off the vibes of constant orgy. I get they have bonds and such, but I think it would've been better to show the dynamic beyond sex. I think I would've enjoyed this story a lot more if the writing had been been better flushed out.

⚠️ **Triggers**
Suicidal Ideation, Depression, Anxiety, Alcoholism, Panic Attacks

🏳️‍🌈**Representation**
Bisexuality, MM, Polyamory

🌶️ **Spice**
The spice itself was okay. But I think spice is much better when it is not every other sentence and the character relationships are better developed. For example, the Omega & Omega spice happens immediately, we don't even get to consider Spencer's trauma. Because of things like that, I found myself cringing rather than blushing.

📝 **Special Notes**
I received an arc of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Kind of all over the place, repetitive in thoughts/actions/scenes. I made it to the 60% mark because I did want to see where it was going, but ultimately had to abandon it because I couldn’t get over the repetition of thought processes and actions. Not for me, but the concept was good for omegaverse.

Another steamy-sweet omegaverse from Alisha Williams, We Are Destiny gives us Spencer’s story. His journey to his HEA is not as easy and carefree as his sister, Tia’s (Tia gets her HEA in We Are Worthy). He must overcome his feelings of grief and inadequacy after he presents as an Omega, knowing the woman he has loved his entire life already has a pack with her own Omega, thus forever out of reach. We don’t often get omegaverse stories where the male omega is the primary POV or even the second omega to join the pack, so I loved this fresh addition to the genre.

My heart bled for Spencer. Watching him succumb to his depression and anxiety was heartrending. Even when he was doing well, intrusive thoughts kept him from believing he deserved true happiness. The way the pack bolstered him up and made him feel unconditionally loved and wanted was the perfect balm to the earlier pain. If anyone deserved a HEA, it was him.

My favorite character is the pack’s established Omega, Everlee. She was a brat, full of sass and love, but her only aim was to make Spencer hers and then part of her pack. She was the one who knew how to reach Spencer when he had an anxiety attack. She knew what he needed when he couldn’t even communicate it himself. She was the one who forced him out of his shell and made him see that his scent matches wanted him, not just because they were matches but because of the person he was. She was feisty, an absolute hellion in the nest, and loved sharing her love with each of her packmates. I could go on and on…

A true-polyamorous relationship, all members of the pack are in relationships with each other (MMMFF). This book is fast burn and high steam with multiple heats, pairings of every type (MF, FF, MM, FMF, FFM, MMF, etc), first-time MM, pegging, and the other goodness of omegaverse stories (growling, purring, mating bites, nesting, knotting, slick, scenting, etc.).

This is the book to read if you want a sweetverse OV with a HEA but want to suffer some emotional distress (alongside the MMC) before you get there. I recommend reading We Are Worthy first, as his sister and her pack are frequently mentioned, and the events in her story occur earlier in the timeline.

Genre: Contemporary (Human) Omegaverse
Tropes/Features: Two Omegas (M,F), Three Alphas (M,M,F), depression/anxiety, scent matches, claimings, multiple heats, pegging, nesting, knotting, slick
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV
Relationship Type: Polyamorous MMMFF, Fast burn, HIGH Steam
Book Type/Ending: Standalone with HEA
TW/CW: Listed in book

DNF at page 212. I'm just bored of the story. Nothing to grasp my attention. I think the story would be much better if it was shown rather than tell. I also didn't felt the connection between them.

I knew when I read the previous book in this universe (don’t worry, both books can be read as standalones and you won’t miss a single thing), We Are Worthy, that I would want to read any other book Alisha Williams wrote that was set in the same universe. So, when We Are Destiny was announced, I signed up to read, review, and promote that book right away.

This book hit two huge omegaverse sweet spots for me: omega on omega action, and alpha on alpha action. It’s all well and good to read your standard omegaverse novel where it’s all just alpha(s) on omega action, but to be honest, I’ve really gotten tired of them. They’ve started to bore me in the same way that about 75% of heterosexual contemporary romances have, which is why I don’t usually read m/f contemporary romance unless it’s highly recommended to me by people I trust to make good recommendations. With omegaverse, I now see the standard alpha(s) x omega and I’m already pretty bored. I end up returning them to KU usually before the 20% point because I just need more from my omegaverse novels now. And mixing things up or adding up the kink and/or spice factor is a spectacular way to grab my attention and keep me reading.

While I loved We Are Worthy because of its unconventional yet BAMF FMC who was more into who her potential pack members were inside rather than what muscles they had on the outside, I loved We Are Destiny because of the two omegas in the book: our MMC, Spencer, and the feisty little omega Everlee, who is barely-controlled chaos with devious plans in mind that are meant to make everyone happy. The two together are so sweet and cuter than a pair of kittens who have just discovered their toe beans.

Also, bravo to Williams for tackling the struggles that come with depression and anxiety and the unhealthy coping mechanisms one might use in the dark times when it seems you’ve lost everything and don’t know if you’re ever going to come out of the dark pit you’ve found yourself in. As someone who has a panic disorder and an anxiety disorder (let’s not talk about the bipolar), I felt those scenes were written rather well and handled with appropriate care instead of exploitatively. While Spencer’s anxiety and depression are intrinsic to the plot, Williams did take care to not make Spencer all about his depression and anxiety, instead opting as often as possible to show as many different facets of Spencer as possible.

Now, we all know we don’t read omegaverse for plot. We read it for fun and for spice. You don’t have anything to worry about on that front. There is a lot of spice in this book, and the pairings are in every formation possible. It’s all hot, and it’ll make you squirm real good. Not only that, but you get a lot of sweet and soft intimate moments, which is always nice.

All in all, it’s another winner from Alisha Williams in this omegaverse universe. It’s a great book available on Kindle Unlimited and you should definitely check it out if you like your omegaverse novels spicy, diverse, and versatile.

description

First of all a big thank you to Alisha Williams and Peachy Keen for providing me with an ARC of Alisha's newest release.

This was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I read a lot Omegaverse romances, and this was by far one of my favourite. I couldn't put this down and before I knew it I was 69% in. And that says something, considering I can't focus on anything.

Spencer will forever have a special place in my heart. My heart broke for him over and over. His character hit a bit too close to home at times. But who knows, maybe Spencer's journey will help mine along the way. But it did mean I understood him. Gosh, I understood him a bit too well. It hurts, it hurts so freaking bad if you don't get chosen, if you're left behind. Depression is a horrible thing too many people are familiar with. The fake smiles, the "I'm fine" or "I'll try" even though we all know it's a lie.

I cried for Spencer. I bawled my eyes out. Even though his journey was hard, so freaking hard, and even though he did gave up... He got out. Our boy got out.

He couldn't have done it without Everlee. This girl, oh my. I laughed so much, definitely one of the funniest characters I've ever seen. She's the Omega of the pack Spencer wished he had. She's the Omega they chose, while he got left behind. Everlee has no idea though. She just sees a broken spirit, a scent match to one of her Alphas and knows one thing: He. Is. Hers.

This little thing claimed this big, sad, tattooed Omega immediately. No questions asked.

She saved him. That's for sure.

This story is filled to the brim with heartbreak, friendship, desire and love. It's a tough ride, but so worth it in the end.

I won't tell more than this, because I'd be spoiling the book and I'm not gonna do that. Just trust me on this; A bonded pack, a lost Omega and a cheeky, naughty little Omega on the hunt to bring everyone together.

Definitely check the triggers for this book. It's a lovely, heartfelt story, but it still deals with some major triggers.

Imagine a child doing grabby hands wanting something they very much wanted, that was me with this ARC! Once started, the story f'ing gripped me!! I read it in around 8hrs.

"We are Destiny" was a hot, highly emotional, angsty, steamy & sweet af ride! I was teary eyed mostly during the book, especially in the 1st half! Goddamn, dear Spencer made my heart hurt. I wanted his HEA so much, His loneliness resonated with me on a deep level 😭.
Everlee came like a fairy in his life, accepting him in his pack. Gosh she's the sweetest. She & Spence, sweet omegas won my heart 1st, The alphas had to work their way for an in lol. #PolyRomance

I loved the world building, the relationship development. That heartracing moment at end was a surprise! The end & epilogue were sweet ♥️.

I've checked Spencer's sister Tia's book which led me to wanting the book but I'll surely read it fully sometime! Full review to come soon.

I do hope that we get a novella to see how the pack met & came to be, I know that we find it in this book, but I'm greedy!

P.s. So in all book, only once condoms are mentioned during A/A sex, not with omegas or females. So the females seem to be on birth control & as pack they very much trust Spence 👀. I deduced as it wasn't discussed but it didn't retract from story as Condoms are rarely mentioned in omega verse. I dunno why 😅
(I just talked with the author about this! I'm happy with what she told me 💕)

1st book by this author for me!

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. Alisha can write any trope and absolutely nail it. This Omegaverse world she created sucked me in and had me completely engrossed. It tells the story of Spender becoming an Omega and finding his pack. He has so many emotional and mental hurdles to overcome while trying to feel accepted while really coming into his own.
This story is sweet and emotional, with a WHOLE LOT OF STEAM. It was a binge read that will leave you wanting more. I really enjoyed it and the characters were so well written.
Alisha is always a one click author for me. She’s one I can always expect a fast paced, steamy, begging for more kind of romance from.

Spencer's story was absolutely emotional, but that being said.. his ending is everything. I absolutely loved this pack, the Alpha's, Ever After, & my sweet baby boy Spencer. What a great OV book that ended in a great HEA.

Loved this

I absolutely adored We Are Worthy, so I HAD to dive in this book as soon as it released. Spencer won me over from the start. I cried ugly tears for him as his struggles were tearing at my heartstrings. Pack Sinclair was *chef's kiss*. Everlee being my favourite of them all. She was amazing, the right amount of pushy when it came to Spencer and her fierce personality was what they all needed to add Spencer into the fold.

Being an omega was never my dream it was in the cards I was dealt and I’ve only struggled and clawed my way to survive ever since. The only alpha I’ve ever wanted was already taken and slowly my world only seems to be crumbling even more, but then she saves me.. the little fiesty pixie omega I never seen coming took my hand and pulled me back from the abyss!

A couple months ago when I found We are Worthy I quickly fell in love with this author and her writing style, her characters aren’t your average FMC/MC and her stories are somehow deep and emotional but also absolutely precious and steamy.

Spencer caught my attention in his sisters book, his story and background I knew would be heartbreaking and quite the roller coaster but I sure didn’t expect it to be this much of emotional battlefield. I had a feeling he would get the alpha of his dreams one day but he definitely needed to put in the work first and open his eyes to all he could have and how much love he truly deserved.

This pack never knew they needed two omegas but I think this only worked because of the two omegas they were meant to get, Spencer certainly isn’t your typical omega and Everlee is a firecracker that keeps all of them in check and on there toes. This is a story of love, acceptance, growth and never settling for less than you deserve and need. Ivy, Carter, Spencer and Calix are a special pieced puzzle that only works best when they are all together, there love and devotion and connection is explosive and is so interconnected sometimes you can’t pick who loves who more or who works best together.

I promise you will enjoy every second of this omega-verse story and Alisha will become a insta download author for you, I know for a fact I’ll read anything she puts out!

Fan-freakin-tastic! Just made it’s place in my top 5 of this year so far! This was the first omegaverse that captured my attention and kept it from beginning to end! It was packed full of emotional moments, but followed up with plenty of sweet ones to mend your heart!
A sweet sweet Boy, Spencer, had always been in love with his older sisters best friend Ivy, he dreamed of the day he presented and became Alpha and could go get his girl. But things didn’t plan out like he had always thought they would in his head. And that started a very dark an dangerously downward spiral for him. His family finally made him go to Calling Wood where he could finally get away from the bad influences , and find a pack of his own. When he ran into Ivy and her pack, things just went from bad to worse- he went through his first heat on his own and ended up in the hospital.
It wasn’t until the most adorable and spunky little Omega got finally figures a few things out, that things start to turn around for Spencer, and he starts to get everything he ever wanted plus more, beyond his wildest dreams, thinks he never saw happening!
Don’t let the sweet and emotional full you, cause this baby is packed full of 🌶️ as well, and it’s worth a few panty changes 🫣 it’s that good though, seriously! Why choose, poly, mm & ff- all the love & goodness your little heart could want!

Thank you Alisha for trusting me with an arc and reading this ahead of release day! This review is 100% my honest opinion!

heartbreakingly sweet

Holy moly I was unprepared for how emotionally deep this story would feel! Meeting Spencer and getting the basics of his story in We Are Worthy was just a drop on the surface of preparing me for this rollercoaster of a journey! I’m still reeling from how everything went down!

Spencer is sweet but also doesn’t quite fit the norms for an Omega- which I love! Especially since he is *packing*, something we usually don’t get with male omegas! His battle with anxiety is super relatable, and adding in depression gave this entire story a more sullen vibe. It was written so well and not overdramatized to the point of losing the realism that comes with facing those types of disorders in your day to day life.

The Sinclair pack were so wonderful! With the Viking Alpha duo, their feisty Omega, and Ivy- the female alpha- they were diverse but cohesive. I’m a sucker for fully polyamorous groupings so getting to see a pack who openly loves each other add in a new member was so freaking sweet!

And the SPICE! Oh m’lady, was it absolutely delicious! With everything from an omega heat to that hefty MM action between the Alphas: be ready for some one handed reading!

I can’t get enough of the author’s Omegaverse stories! And I’m excited to read more in the next book!

Wow this was 1 hell of a rollercoaster ride, I’m still not able to get my emotions in check after reading this book.

I loved every single minute of it 🖤 Spencer has my heart so much, he is struggling with life and when everything that has gone wrong comes to a head his life takes a massive change in direction 😍

I did so much crying reading this book I wondered if I had any tears left but trust me those tears are soooooo worth it, when I read this book again (because i definitely will) I will make sure I have plenty of tissues to hand as I will always cry at the emotion this writing gives out in waves. It makes it so real and like your there witnessing everything going on.

The story is beautiful and I’m here for this pack 🖤 I loved all the main characters so much and I’m so sad that the story is done. But oh what a way to end it, it was fabulous 😍

The spice in this book is next level and the dirty talk on these characters is hot hot hot 🥵

If you love anything OV with knotting, heats, nesting, MM, FF and group sexy time this book is for you. Just remember to get them tissues at the ready for the emotion and a friend (person or buzzy) for the needy feeling you will get whilst reading 😉

I thought that this was a well-written book that definitely didn’t skimp out on the spice. Reading We Are Destiny was a new experience for me, as it was my first time reading a book with a male omega as the main character. Although it was new, I quite enjoyed it. Spencer is a complicated guy, who has certainly struggled in life. I really felt for him at the beginning of this book, and could practically feel his heartache through the page. The whole pack has characteristics that make them unique, and I love how they all interact with one another. There are no specific relationships, it’s just everybody loving everybody. Ever has my heart as she is just the sweetest, and horniest, little thing.

That brings me to the spice. In any Omegaverse book, a decent level of spice is usually present. In this book, however, the spice was not only hot but also helped character development. It helped to heal trauma and to make Spencer especially feel wanted. I would love to see more of their story, but if this is the end then I am satisfied with where we have left them off. It was also really cool seeing characters from other books give cameos in We Are Destiny.

I was super emotional during this book, im almost 8months into my pregnancy and dealing with the hormones on top of my own natural anxiety and bipolar depression I really felt this book. I was a sobbing mess but this book was everything. And dare I say better than the first? Which is beyond crazy because the first was great. I just really connected with this one on a different level. Bravo Alisha, I loved it. I love that you could get a look at what Spencer is truly feeling, most people when they write about mental illness don't have a first hand understanding of what it feels like, weather it was Alisha's own experience or she's close to someone who is going through it, she really captures the reality of it. I really can say that it described my own experiences exactly and its hard and often you don't have anyone who can understand you or help you through it but this book helps you understand that you aren't alone and if you allow yourself to get help it really can save you. I was fortunate enough to find it. Thank you Alisha for this book.

Oo my gosh!! This book has me sobbing!! I loved it! This is a rollercoaster Omegaverse with MMMFF. I absolutely looove books that are written so well that I can FEEL what the characters are and this is one of those books!

Spencer won my heart in We Are Worthy as a side character and I’ve been waiting for his story and it was so worth the wait. It is so easy to relate to Spencer as it is only human to envision your future one way only for things to not turn out the way we hoped and to have that feel like the world is falling apart. His struggles are real and beautifully represented.

This story is just beautiful beginning to end, even with the heartache. I fell in love with each pack member one right after the other. Seriously they are pack goals!

The spice is spicin in this book! The dirty talk! The praise! The HEATS! This pack is very physically affectionate 🔥

We Are Destiny has every ingredient needed for the perfect OV! Group fun ✅ MM ✅ FF ✅ heats ✅ nesting ✅ knotting ✅ and alll the feels! Grab this book. Seriously you won’t regret it.

I have been waiting for Spencer’s story since the last book. Spencer has been in love with Ivy forever. Thinking he would come out as an alpha, he had his future planned out with Ivy( but she has no idea how he feels). But when he turns out to be Omega like his mother and sister. Now he goes out of control and scare the ones who loves him. So he agree to go Calling Wood to find his pack but he runs into Ivy’s pack and feels a pull to them. Then his first heat bring him grief and pulls him to a dark place. His sister takes out on Ivy when she has no idea why, until she see him for the first time in long time. Everlee is Ivy’s pack omega and you can’t happen but fall in love her. She pulls everyone together. Ivy, Carter, and Calix are not the normal alpha to see them care for Spencer is incredibly emotion. Spencer’s journey is an emotional ride. You will cry, laugh and pull for him through everything. And see them get their happy ending is remarkable. One of the best Omegaverse I have read.

After reading We Are Worthy I was too curious to know about Spencer and how things turn out for that sweet boy who is haunted by a broken heart and this book did not disappoint me. The plot is so sweet, healing, and spicy. I really adore how Everlee lights up everything for everyone in her life in the best way. She is a freaking Angel who knows what the person requires/wants/needs. She is a pure soul.

This multiple POVs is perfect for enjoying and falling in love with the characters. They all deal with problems together and don’t let them harm the peace between their pack. Pack means life to each of them. Ivy is a feisty Alpha and she is so goddamm good for Spencer. The chemistry there is wow. Healing is a long road but they do it smilingly.

Calix and Carter are superb too, all hot handsome Alphas. There is not an ounce of darkness there, just love to give. I enjoyed the book, characters, story, and spice. It was all good. Spencer won my heart and soul, I felt for him deeply. Seeing him suffer in the first 30%of the story just attracts me alot. He deserves more.❤️❤️

You might want to have tissues on hand because this is one emotionally charged read.

We first met Spencer in We Are Worthy. He is Tia's little brother and his story isn't all sunshine and rainbows. He has been in love with Ivy forever, but she's never seen him as anything but the little brother of her best friend. And when Spencer presents as an omega, he thinks his life is over. This is where his depression and panic attacks come into play. And it's not just lightly treaded over. We see and feel the depression set in. We see his thoughts swirl and the panic attacks come raging in. It painted such an honest picture into his mental health.

But Everlee, the female omega of Ivy's pack is ready to bring him in. There's a big thing here of having 2 omegas in a pack. But Spencer isn't an outlier, he's the missing piece.

This book features MM and also FF. It's just a big mixing bowl of Ms and Fs. And it was just great. I hope we see more stories in Calling Wood!

I don't even know where to start. I loved everything and everyone.

Spencer had me in tears and wanting to just give him a big hug. He's probably one of the most relatable characters I've read about. He dealt with anxiety and depression for years. At his breaking point he met Everlee, Carter, Ivy and Calix.

All of them gave Spencer the love he needed and have wanted for years. We get taken on a ride of them just bonding with each other and getting to know one another, Spencer deals with his anxiety attacks and all the sex they were having. Even though it was very heavy on the spice it also managed to be a very emotional book. I loved how they took care of Spencer when he was having an attack and just how protective and loving they were to him and each other.

You really can't help but fall for everyone in this book. I definitely stayed up way tok late trying to finish this i was hooked.

Spencer’s story is such a sad one. You can look fine on the outside, but the demons on the inside are trying to break you!
He’s been in love with his sister’s BFF since he laid eyes on her. His dreams of happy ever after were crushed when he presented & his love left for school & found her pack. He had a rough time of it but his family didn’t give up on him & kept being there even when he didn’t want them to.
This book is SPICY, dirty, angsty (is that even a word? Well it is now ha!) and also so super sweet. Be sure to grab some tissues and have a bob/FB/hubs/wife whatever hits your fancy for relief near by. You’re welcome for getting you prepared for this book!
Alisha you’re amazing! I love being apart of your journey, and seeing how much success you’ve had in such a short time! So, thank you for taking a leap & becoming an author!

So much to love about this book. 3 Sweet but possesive Alphas, an adorable, brave and spunky omega, and a broken young man who is coming to grips with his reality. I just wanted to hold Spencer tight and make it all ok. But Everlee (the female omega) did that for me. Their connection was my favorite of the bunch. They just clicked so fast, but it felt natural.
Calix, Carter and Ivy are all so different but wonderful in their own Alpha ways. I don't think I could pick a favorite alpha if I tried.
I loved the way the author handled Spencer's mental health issues. There were moments that were very hard to read because the pain and depression felt so real. It was really touching and emotional. And it made me love him more.
This spice level in this omegaverse romance is off the charts hot. Lots of wonderful dirty talk, heats and scent matching.
I absolutely devoured this book.

This is the first time I’ve read a book where the focus on on a male main character and especially omega, it was something different and I actually quite enjoyed it 😄
The book focuses on Spencer who expecting all his life to be an alpha emerges as a male omega which seriously affects his chances with his first and only love Ivy who already has an omega and bound pack 😩 this throws his life into an utter tail spin with some dangerous coping mechanisms!
As a last ditch effort he’s enrolled in an academy in an attempt to move on, yet little does he know his worlds about to be flipped all the way around when he bumps into a fiesty as omega who teaches him to Hope 😍 especially when he realises who this pixie belongs to and that their may be wayyy more to his teen crush than he imagined! 🥰
Honestly this story really pulls at the emotions as you really hope Spencer gets all that he wants and deserves! It’s a sweet story seeing this pack build together ☺️ The author very cleverly dangles that Hope and happiness in front of you and I really liked the different aspect in this that it’s their own issues - rather than an outside force - that may hamper their future…well right until the end that is 😳😳
Also first time ever reading an established FF relationship and 🌶️🌶️🌶️ the scenes in this book are 🔥🔥🔥 if you enjoy true poly reads!

This book was amazing! It was emotional and extremely spicy which are two things I love in a good book. We are introduced to several of the Sinclair pack members in We Are Worthy, but it is not necessary to read that book before diving into this one (I would recommend it though because We Are Worthy was really good too!).

This was my first omegaverse book that focused on a male omega so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved Spencer. Spencer has struggles with his mental health and struggles with accepting himself as an omega because he always thought he would be an alpha. Alisha Williams does not skate over his issues and will have your heart breaking for Spencer and what he is trying to hide from those around him. I loved Everlee and how supportive she is of Spencer right from the start! She is a fierce pixie that stands up for those she loves. Ivy, Carter, and Calix are great too. They don't conform to the stereotypical roles for alphas and omegas which I like. This pack definitely brings the spicy scenes and there are a lot of them throughout the book! There are also several twists that I wasn't expecting!

I really enjoyed this book and the characters so much! I was glad to see Tia and her pack from We Are Worthy so we could see glimpses of what their future looked like. Even though there were two epilogues for this book, I still wanted more!

This was such a special omegaverse story. Spencer has been in love with his sisters best friend ivy since he was 13. He always dreamed that he'd be an alpha and able to join her pack when he presented, but fate had other plans and he turned out to be an omega. This sent him into a spiral of depression and anxiety and for years he had issues with abusing alcohol and pills until he went to calling wood. He wanted to avoid ivy and her pack, but again life had other plans. When he met everlee he was literally at the worst moment in his life and she saved him. I truly felt connected to Spencer and the struggles he dealt with even after finding a happy ending. I cried several times and was so happy with the two epilogues. This deals with heavier themes than we are worthy, but it was still an amazing read.
