Bitten

Rate this book
I might not agree with my rebel court’s plans for revenge, but I know that the corruption of the paranormal syndicate has to be stopped. Now I’m off to the syndicate’s vampire coven to help heal the vampire queen’s favorite blood donor/lover—from the poison my court slipped her as part of their scheme to get me into the coven….

I might not like the methods, but I know it’s up to me to get information from the vampire queen that will help Robin get back her birthright and overthrow the syndicate. I can do this. I can prove I’m strong enough to be part of Robin’s court, even if it means being bitten.

It’s easier than I ever thought possible to make allies in the nest of vipers, but I can’t just leave them there. And my bleeding heart might just destroy my new rebel family….

The Love and Revenge series features a lost woman who is determined to find herself, and the men and women who love her. It is suitable for mature audiences only. Contains poly relationships and LGBTQ+ characters.

Author’s Note:

This book is part of a series. While some plot arcs will be finished in this book, others may be introduced that lead into the next book in the series, so there may be an “yes, but” or a “for now” sort of ending. (No big cliffhanger in this particular book).
This story is paranormal poly romance (which means multiple lovers within the relationship, #whychoose, etc.) There will be male/female, female/female, male/male and MMFFMM scenes as the series progresses.
This story is a slower burn than some of my others, but will contain explicit sex scenes.
These characters have tragic/traumatic backstories. If you know me, you know you can be assured of a HEA, BUT if you’re easily triggered, please just pass on by.
Swearing, sex, and adult content.
Contains an alpha/omega relationship, but with liberal reimagining.
Characters may have varied forms of gender expression. If that bothers you, this isn’t the book for you. If it makes your little heart happy, and you’ve stuck with me thus far, then come on in, there’s a seat right here by the fire. Would you like a cup of tea and a cookie? Unfortunately, we’re currently out of pet bats.

Sometimes our greatest strengths come from our deepest challenges. I write magic and romance, starring a cast of creatures with feathers, fins, and teeth. My books include paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and fantasy romance--with the occasional steampunk or alien story thrown in just for kicks. My pan heart firmly believes love is love, so you'll see straight, LGBTQIA, monogamous, reverse harem, and poly relationships in my work. My favorite theme is overcoming our inner demons and the insecurities that hold us back.
I also advocate for self-development and mental health and dabble in non-fiction as time allows. I love the outdoors and still hope to be abducted by fae! (I may have more in common with my characters than I care to admit.)

Though i enjoyed this, ruya needs to leave robin

The one thing i kept disliking as i kept reading each book is how Robin treats Ruya, the author really tried to make it make sense but at some point it feels abusive or similar to Stockholm syndrome in a way. Their relationship isn’t healthy, and even worse is the one forced with Yukio, like dude should be allowed to dislike her and ignore her, instead he says malicious things like a child and it’s okay because he’s a supposed tsundere type who hides his feelings deeply and is in denial of how much he loves Ruya secretly. The vibe is weird. I think more characters should be allowed to have a sexual preference and not be attracted to certain characters just because plot. Not everyone needs to be bi in my opinion nor be sex crazed.

I really enjoyed this book outside of those issues because it was more interesting than the second which was just disappointing and hard to go through. I really hope Ruya being passive for Robin just because they’re compatible isnt the goal here. Though they seem to be endgame, im really not rooting for them to mate. Ronin is sometimes too controlling and long term it’s not great. Cicely and the new characters are my favorite. They seem fun and a really nice change and are in Ruyas side which is honestly more appealing to read about than people loyal to someone we really barely know but are supposed to pity and admire because they had a tragic back story.

I just read this on scribd after rereading the first two books, i really like this series. It has disabilities, mm, ff , omega and alpha , etc.
I love the FMC , especially how she has grown and telling people how she would like to be treated.
To the harem when I first read this book i really disliked Yukio, but now when I reread it i realize that i don't dislike him as much as I thought. Don't give me wrong he can't communicate at all, and i don't like his snide comments to the fmc. But i feel like he is beginning to open up to the possibility of a relationship, that is of course if he doesn't screw up.

I really like rest of the harem, but Robin also needs to work on her communication skills. Is it wrong that i totally want either Robin or another to get Ruya pregnant? I know they said they have a revenge to focus on, but i would just love that her mates being overprotective while she is pregnant 😭😂

I want the next book, i like the development within every book and can't wait to see more.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

Savadir was actually a nice addition, i felt like he would give the world to Ruya. Even went down on his knees for her. Something that robin can't do, because she is so focus on revenge. I'll be honest , i kinda want Savadir to steal her away if robin focus on revenge instead if Ruya. Robin is such a komplex character, but i hope she doesn't push her away.
Josh is a character that is interesting, but i would like to see more of. It seems he is ace, which is really cool representation.
