This book was by far one of my favorites so far from Brittanee's work.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. And that plot twist 🤯 I did not see that coming. I love the instant connection the characters had 😍 Their stolen moments 🫠 That ending was so perfect though. I couldn’t get enough of this story. It left me wanting more.

great chemistry and spice, but the ending felt slightly rushed and messy with the resolution/plot twist. still enjoyable, but it could've used a little more to bring everything together.

Wow. Let me just say, this is Brittanee's usual type of book, but man oh man did she hit it out of the park again!
The mystery kept me so intrigued and I didn't want to put it down!
And of course, she didn't leave out the spice!! Holy hotness!!!
I can't wait for the rest of the world to read it and see how amazing Brittanee is at all different types of tropes!!

Omg, this book kept me so engaged, I couldn't, repeat couldn't, put it down. It is such a different read from Brittanee's other books but just as captivating if not more. You dont want to miss this one.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. What a WILD ride this one was! This review is going to be short and sweet because I think going into this book as blind as possible is the best way to do it!
I truly fell for every red herring in this book, to the point where my jaw was on the floor when the big reveal finally happened. I clearly need to read more thrillers again.
With multiple POVs throughout you don’t know which way is up or who to trust. It was so well done! The POVs were written in such a way that you truly suspect almost every character at one point or another. I also just loved the romance we got at the end to wrap everything up in a nice big bow.
There was one legal inconsistency I noted (very much a me thing) but I don’t think it was glaring in any way! I also usually have a problem with any sort of lawyer x client romance (hazard of being an irl lawyer) but the ethical implications were noted several times - which usually doesn’t happen! Overall this book kept me on my toes, kept my heart racing, and kept me guessing throughout + you get a heart swooning romance - what more do you need??
If this semi vague review doesn’t convince you to read this one I don’t know what will!

What an incredible ride! This is such an enjoyable romantic suspense <3 I was certainly kept in suspense. Even when I thought I knew what was likely going on there were just enough questions and theories rolling around in my head that I wasn't certain (though I held out hope. When you read this you might understand.) Whether it had gone the way I wanted or gone the opposite I would have still walked away glad to have read this book. It was well-executed to keep you on your toes and turning the page to see what would happen next, what new development would come to give you more insight, and who was telling the truth or lying. I was on the edge of my seat hoping that when the HEA came around it would be satisfying while I wondered if there even would be an HEA at all since this is not a "Romance" This only added to the feeling of suspense and foreboding that was already present just based on the crazy events in the book. When this comes out- don't hesitate and just go read this book!

Wow!!! This book had me hooked from the beginning. If you love Hollywood gossip/scandal, psychological thriller, and spicy romance then Deadly Gossip is the perfect book. I loved every part from the layout to the plot. This book is brimming with tension, drama and heart. It felt just like I was watching a Lifetime movie. You have a gift Brittanee. Even though it’s the beginning of the year this is definitely going to be in my top ten favorite books of 2023.

Y’all!! @authorbrittaneenicole knocked another one out of the park! Ahh this was so good!! Tropes are single dad, age gap, forbidden romance, celeb romance, there’s a mvrder, there are so many twists and turns but also lotssss of Seggsy time. This is the perfect mix of romance meets thriller that I never knew I needed but literally couldn’t put down until it was over. So good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥🔥🔥 it’s available on KU. So do yourself a favor and go snag this. Promise you won’t be disappointed.

“Deadly Gossip” is a thriller romance by Brittanee Nicole. It’s about a lawyer named Madi who is supposed to fix things for the rich and famous, but she royally messes up.
I loved this book. It was so different than anything else Britt has written , but it is easily one of my favorites she’s ever written. It will keep you guessing until the end!

Wow. I was speechless when I finished this. I finished in less than 24 hours. This is not like any of Brittanees other books. It is by far my favorite read of 2022. It kept me guessing the whole way through. If you like suspense and having your mind wondering, this is definitely the book for you. It has spice and romance to it as well. I will recommend this book to anyone who asks. And I definitely will be gifting this book this year. It will be hard to top for sure !

Madi is a lawyer who is known as the fixer. When she sees that one of the firms biggest client’s wife in a compromised picture in a magazine she knows she’s in trouble. She goes to work and meets Duncan Scott and they both have an attraction for each other. This starts them trying not to be inappropriate Tyler,Madi’s roommates and childhood friend who she’s in love with, but he doesn’t feel the same is cop and doesn’t trust Duncan. Victoria is Duncan’s estranged wife and mother of their two children. As Madi gets involved with the Scott family something feels off and you don’t know if it’s Duncan, Victoria, or someone else. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended Amazing book Absolutely love the character development of the characters in this book especially Madi. A lot of twist and turns felt like I was on a roller coaster. This was my first book by this author definitely not my last.

Is it a murder mistery or is it a romance?
It's a gripping read that seems to be switching genres throughout the plot's progression. For the most part it's a criminal story. We learn in the first chapter that the FMC is in a bathtub filled with blood. Once the mystery of who killed whom is solved, the focus is place solely on romance.
Madie is an LA fixer who works with celebrities on a daily basis. She covers their missteps, makes sure their misstakes don't reach the public eye while the company she works for charges by the ungodly hour. One day, she is unable to stop a tabloid leak and has to attend a meeting were she will face the wrath of the client whose wife was exposed cheating on.
Duncan, the golden boy actor, walks in to his lawyer's office to yell at the person who failed so miserably at their job and finds himself ogling the young lawyer. He is infatuated on the spot and from now on takes any excuse to spend some time with her. This makes his attention seeking wife very unhappy as it was not her plan to push her husband into the arms of another woman.
The number of POVs is this book can give you a headache, especially when you don't know who is telling the truth. We slowly unravel all the pieces to the puzzle and I found myself more intrigued by who tried to kill who that who will Madie choose. I figured the villain out pretty quickly and was just left wandering what was the extent of thier wickedness and how their actions will affect our main couple.
After the mystery is solved, we are left with the romance and it was a sweet ending to this at times gruesome story. It failed to suck my in completely, I just wanted to see if I was right in my suspicions. The romance was ok, but making the reader question Duncan's intentions took a lot away from the appeal. All in all, this book showed me that maybe I could be interested in a criminal story low or even without romance plot.

I love a book that can keep my on my toes, and this book definitely did that. While I did guess some of the twists, one of the big twists caught me by surprise big time. I’m not gonna lie. My mouth dropped when I read it. My mind whirled, and it made me second guess everything that I had read up to that point. I loved the whole mystery plot of the book, and maybe a re-read is in order just to see if I pick up on stuff now that I know what actually happened.
Now, the characters. Duncan and Madi are our two main characters. Tyler, Victoria, and Kyra are our leading side characters, and they are just as important to the plot as our couple. I honestly really liked Duncan, and I wish we got more of his perspective. He seemed like a such a sweet and genuine man who just needed to catch a break. Madi, I struggled with for most of the book. She and I didn’t gel well, and that’s ok. Tyler needed a good shaking, but intrust he’s on the right path now. Kyra is the best friend that we all want. Now, Victoria. She’s a real piece of work, and I’ll admit even I was starting to fall under her spell. Brittanée did a fantastic job with all things Victoria.
All that being said, this book was good. If you’re looking for a mystery and forbidden love romance, you’ll certainly want to check this out.

This book had me on the EDGE of my seat. I literally could not stop reading. I even tried to put the book down to do other things, but then found myself coming back to it an hour later LOL. I was trying to guess what would happen, and then the next chapter would prove me wrong. I would get certain vibes from characters and it would turn out to be the opposite. This seriously messed with my mind.
Add in the angst, the spice and Duncan’s dirty mouth? Stop it. Stop it right now. 🥵🥵

Just wow! 🤯🤯🤯 This is a MUST read!
I enjoy thrillers or a good mystery and normally can figure out where they are going. With this one, I had a few theories…they weren’t completely right. I was shocked and okay with being wrong. But then there was even more!!! I found myself saying “wow, I wasn’t expecting that.” This plot is simply spectacular!

I enjoy thrillers or a good mystery and normally can figure out where they are going. With this one, I had a few theories…they weren’t completely right. I was shocked and okay with being wrong. But then there was even more!!! I found myself saying “wow, I wasn’t expecting that.” This plot is simply spectacular!

This was my first book by this author. It was intriguing trying to determine who was the killer and who was telling the truth, but it was too long and drawn out. There was a good amount of spice between Duncan Scott, a wealthy movie star embroiled in a cheating scandal and Madison Jacob, the attorney hired to keep his personal life out of the spotlight. He was going through a divorce from his wife, but Madison still managed to fall in love with him and have a relationship with him. In the meantime, her long time best friend, Tyler, the police officer, finally came to the realization that he loved Madison as Madison loved him. However, since she had Duncan in her life she realized she was in love with Duncan and not in love with Tyler. Each chapter was told in the point of view of a different character even more than the main characters. It got to be a little confusing.

This book y’all. This was WILD.
It had me saying “what the f**k” multiple times.
And the twist?!?! There were two aspects of the twist I saw coming. But there was one aspect I did not see coming at all. I won’t spoil anything but holy hell.
This may not have been the best written book ever, but it was very engaging and sucked me into the story. I could not put it down. It kind of gave me the vibes I got when I read the Mindf*ck series by ST Abby. Not so much the plot itself obviously, but just that obsessive need to keep reading and figure out wtf was going on.
I had a hell of a good time with this.

DEADLY GOSSIP by Brittanee Nicole.
Oh boy you guys get ready for this one it’s going to have you hooked. There are so many twists and turns you will be a bit dizzy. The author did an awesome job at making these characters so multilayered and she gives us mystery lovers all a mystery to solve and I could not put it down. Oh boy the chemistry between Madison and Duncan from the beginning was there even with all of the emotions happening at their first meeting it was there. The more and more they interact it’s more and more palpable. This book is one you definitely have to read it is entertaining and full of surprises you won’t want to miss out on. I highly recommend this book.

I decided I was done 9% in. Madi seemed very "I'm not like the other girls" and I am not in the mood. How dare a woman her roommate sleeps with have lip fillers and big boobs? THE HORROR. That wasn't the first time something like that was brought up, either.
"I only allow myself to indulge in creamer on the weekends. With my hours at work, I drink five cups of coffee a day at a minimum—if I had creamer in every cup, I would be the size of a house."
Oh, please.
The second Tyler made an appearance, I knew it was going to be a love triangle with three annoying people. I'm out!

Wow, this book was truly amazing. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. But after getting a few chapters in I knew this was going to be one of my favourites for 2023.
The way the author created such a detailed story, always keeping romance at the heart with mystery/thriller element was fantastic. The characters were so dynamic, you either loved or hated them.
I could not put this book down, @authorbrittaneenicole took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, twists and turns. I was so bloody confused at who to trust.
The spice in this book was just 🔥, but it did not take away from the book.
The only thing that I found was that the build up was a little long.
Would definitely recommend😍.

Brittanee could write the phone book and I would read it, but this book is so good, I could not put it down! This is unlike anything else she has written, but I must say it is one of my favorites by her. This will keep you on your toes trying to guess how it will end up. But in every chapter, there is something that will make you second-guess yourself.
I loved all the multiple POVs. All the characters have their own personalities and you either love them or hate them. I absolutely adored Lara and Benji. They were adorable.
"You don't move on from your soulmate. You just exist. "
Not only is it a thriller, but the spice is spicy. The angst and the banter are top-notch. This is one I highly recommended.

The divorce of the year is playing out all over the tabloids. Duncan vs Victoria Scott, and all the skeletons in the closets are being laid bare. The only problem is, what version of the truth does the world believe? Madison has no clue.
Does she believe her best friend, the Hollywood actor she'sfalling in love with, the Queen of the Silver Screen aka the soon to be ex Mrs. Scott, or the tabloids? She is tasked with finding out the truth as Mr Scott's lawyer. It may cost her everything if she picks the wrong story to believe.
