I love the idea of seeing what happens after the main story is over. When the big bad is defeated, the prophecy is fulfilled, and peace has come to the kingdom, what comes next? What genre book is this? Great question! Part light fantasy, romantic comedy. If you ever played D&D you might get a kick out of this. At first it felt almost too cliche, too cheesy and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. But the light-hearted humor and fast pace compelled me to read more and soon I was hooked. You have your standard "Dungeon" party that the story centers around. The speech feels out of tune with the setting, as does the narration but after awhile, it becomes part of the charm of ...more

I’m so not crying… these are only stray raindrops. ~

This book truly lived up to the hype. It’s funny & witty and full of emotional rollercoasters. But the best part? The fact that I actually liked the miscommunication trope in this novel! It led to humorous moments worth every penny the book itself costs. I cannot express enough how good this book truly was.
