A much better book that Phillipa Gregory's "The Other Boleyn Girl". I really enjoy this timeframe in history, and Karen Harper seems to put research into her writing. ...more

I'll start by noting that, at the end of the book, Mary was not, in fact, the last Boleyn. Her parents were still alive. It would have been nice if there had been an epilogue or two, explaining the causes of their deaths, and a bit about Mary's reaction. I enjoyed this book, but there were facts that did not line up with previous books that I've read. One would think that basic facts would be easy enough to verify, even though the events were a long time ago. ...more
