I’ve absolutely adored each book in this ‘Love Lines’ series by Cara Bastone and this book was no exception! Once again we had the best and sweetest hero and a heroine I absolutely loved! I loved the bus ride/road trip aspect of this story. Once again, I only wish the book was longer. The narration was superb and the book was so much fun to listen to!

An enemies to lovers written by Giana Darling, of course I had to get my hands on this one! When Heroes Fall is the first book in the ‘Anti-Heroes in Love duet and I cant’t wait to see what happens next! Dante was absolutely fantastic and I really liked Elena, she grew on me as the story continued. I am so curious about her family and I see that her sisters have books too. I’m fairly certain I don’t want to read about one in particular, but I definitely want to check out her ‘Enslaved duet’ with Cosmia.

I feel like just about everyone has read this book but me, better late than never I guess! I was intrigued with this one from the start and once it hooked me I didn't want to stop listening. I'm curious to see what will happen between America, Maxon and Asher! I'm looking forward to the next one for sure.

What Lovers Do was a fun and heartwarming friends to lovers romance. This one had me laughing at times, and even though it had some troupes I'm not a fan of, I did enjoy it a lot! I thought the hero was fantastic and the heroine was relatable in so many ways. I loved their banter and chemistry, though I do wish we would have gotten more time with them as a couple.

Higher Love was my first book by Alexandria House and I loved her writing. I actually loved a lot about this book. It started out so strong with me and it was obvious Greer and Derek had a connection and insane chemistry. But there was SO MUCH ex drama. It came from all sides and with this book being fairly short it felt like it was so much of the book. I think if the book would have been longer and we would have had more with this couple or if there would have been less drama from both ex’s it would have been so much better for me.

I love Julie Buxbaum's books and I was so excited to read her newest release Year of Fire. This book follows four characters through their junior year of high school.
First there is Immie, then her twin brother Arch. They have a best friend named Paige, and there is a new international student named Rohan. The book starts with a lie and a secret and at the same time there is a bit of a mysterious aspect regarding multiple fires at their school.
What I liked about this one- I loved the twins. Immie and Arch were my favorite part about this story. I always love a good coming of age story and I enjoyed a lot of the scenes with Ro and Immie. Also, Jackson was wonderful. I wish we would have gotten his perspective.
What didn't quite work for me. This was written in third person and followed four people. It honestly just felt like a lot. I also wasn't a fan of Paige and didn't like her chapters at all. This one was a bit of a mixed bag for me but more enjoyable than not!...more

This was a hard book to read. It's strange to say I enjoyed it, because it was so heartbreaking and horrifying at times. But in the tragedy these characters went through, they also formed an unbreakable bond. I thought it was so interesting that the story wasn't just about the captivity and the after, but it also went into the past and showed us different parts of Dean and Cora's relationship. Not only did they bond through their trauma, but they had an untypical 15 year relationship. The characters were well developed and I loved the writing. I will definitely be checking out more from this author. Just be prepared if you read it, it's pretty dark at times.

I've been looking forward to Nora and Weston's book and it didn't disappoint! I'm always here for a brother's best friend book, and I loved the fact that they were roommates/friends as well.
After a bad breakup and betrayal, Nora ended up moving in with Weston, her brother's best friend but it was just supposed to be temporarily. Weston was in LA for a few months so it made sense. Now he's back and they've become friends and maybe a bit... more? Nora needs a little help getting back out there after getting out of a three year relationship and Weston is just the guy to help.
As Weston helps Nora date again, he sort of kind of starts to fall for her. And those feelings are reciprocated, but things are a bit complicated. I really loved Nora and West together. I felt the connection between them and how West made Nora confident. Another fun part of this book was seeing so many characters I love, and not just from the Wright series :)
All the Wright Moves is the twelfth book in Linde's 'Wright' series and I hope she never stops writing them! I see so many potential stories in the future and I adore these books!

An accidental Vegas Wedding, marriage of convenience sports romance! This sounded right up my alley and it was! I enjoyed this one so much. I’m loving Teagan Hunter’s hockey romances and this was even better than the first. Ryan and Rhodes have this enemies to lovers start with some grumpy/sunshine thrown in and I was so here for it. I only wish it was a little longer and more developed, it seemed a little rushed to me. Aside from that, I have zero complaints!

This book started out so fun! Francesca isn't having a great day... after getting laid off from her job she meets Hayes on the subway. Their meet-cute was definitely unique and I smiled a lot through the first part of this book.
I think the hero won't be for everyone, but he was actually my favorite part of the book. I enjoyed that they became friends but the longer they went through the book not together, the more my interest started to fade. I did enjoy the writing and I'll check out more from Kate Spencer in the future! A strong debut.

This book started so strong for me and I adored the heroine, Adeline. She’s trying to get out of a marriage her father and stepmother is setting up so while trying to compromise herself with Mr. Atwood, who she wants to marry, she ends up in the room of someone else. A Duke. The Duke is a bit tortured and IMO it took way too long for him to come around. I was trying to be understanding, but I was frustrated with him through a lot of the book. The ending was sweet and I’ll definitely check out more in this series. I love Stacy Reid’s writing!

I’ve been looking forward to reading Canary for quite some time, as I’ve seen lots of great reviews… but here’s the thing- personally, I like a little mafia with my romance. This was the opposite, a little romance with my mafia. I felt the romance was so weak, and the majority of the story was mafia based with a ton of violence and kills. I think I was more in the mood for mafia-lite and didn’t get what I was looking for. Objectively this is not a bad book and it kept me intrigued throughout, so that’s something!

This was an enjoyable sports romance with some characters I recognized from some of Karla Sorensen’s other books (that’s what I get for reading out of order lol). I liked the concept of the story and I love Sorensen’s writing. I never felt the connection between the hero and heroine. It was a fling turned into love but I never felt that progression. I adored Luke’s daughter and seeing him as a dad, and Ali was great too. Just wanted more between them.

If You Ask Me was my first Libby Hubscher book and I'll definitely check out more of her work because I enjoyed her writing style. This book was great in so many ways. It had an exceptional hero, dealt with a lot of difficult topics and did so in a sensitive way, and I liked the heroine most of the time. I felt for her, I really did. I could relate to some of what she was going through (view spoiler)[not the infidelity, but the infertility/miscarriage (hide spoiler)], but wow she was over the top some of the time. It was really hard for me to connect to her for most of the book because of her over the top behavior, but by the end I really did love her and I definitely rooted for her.

Court of Swans was my first book by Melanie Dickerson and I enjoyed the premise of it. It took place in England in the year of 1381. It's the first book in the series and I'll definitely continue on because I am so curious about the brother it features.
Delia is the only sister and has 7 brothers who are accused of a horrific crime they did not commit. At only eighteen, she knows she has to leave home and do whatever she can to clear their name and save them from certain execution. Delia is brave and a bit naïve, but she truly loves her brothers and will do whatever she can to help them.
Sir Geoffrey is the knight that arrested Delia's brothers and he could just tell something wasn't right. He tries to get to the bottom of it with Delia and risks his job and ultimately his life to help them all. Of course there is a bit of a romance brewing between Delia and Geoffrey among all of this. I liked all the main characters in this book and if it wasn't for the ending feeling super rushed I would have rated it a star higher.

Another book in the STEM series that felt like it was rooted in miscommunication. That’s not my favorite thing in books, but I can usually overlook it. Though when it’ such a short novella the miscommunication seems like a lot. I actually liked the premise of this one a lot. Hannah has a dream to work in NASA and when she finally gets there she is face to face with Ian who she has previously met. That part was a lot of fun, as well as the rescue!

I’m enjoying these women of stem novellas! This was the story of Sadie and Erik, both engineers. It’s a bit of opposites attract and a little insta-love, at least on Erik’s part and I’m always here for that. I didn’t love that it was so short with so much miscommunication (that’s what the entire story was based on) but aside from that I really liked it. I’m looking forward to the final story in the series, which will be Hannah’s.

Another fantastic hockey book by Sarina Bowen! I love that we're getting characters from both the male and female professional hockey teams. Shenanigans features Charli and Neil Drake. And it's got a troupe I absolutely love. Wake up in Vegas... married.
Drake and Charli couldn't be more different on paper. He's the heir to literally billions of dollars and she played hockey on a scholarship before she made it to the big leagues. But even still, they click. They like each other. This is very much a friends to lovers story.
Charli is a little freaked when she wakes up married but Drake has reasons, family reasons, to stay married for a while. It was fun watching to see what they would do about the whole situation. Drake was the perfect hero. I completely adored him. Charli I really liked too. There were moments I was frustrated with her, but once I knew more about her story I could understand all the choices she made.
Shenanigans was a fun sports romance but it was so much more than that. It had a lot of emotion and depth as well. The audiobook was fantastic and I can't wait to read more in this series!
