I took interest in how military units were formed and then of the troop movements within the tri-state region. This book is a gem. Local library holdings: as of this writing (08/25/23) the book is held at Besore, Coyle Free, and Grove Family in Franklin county and in Cumberland county Bosler, Coy, Fredricksen, John Graham, and Simpson all have copies. I borrowed the 1982 copy a few years back and felt that the book warranted a permanent place on my bookshelf. I purchased the 1987 reprint....more
