Merrydew does a great job of setting up an appealing cast of characters in Our Blue Orange, most especially Godfrey (our protagonist). There is plenty of drama ,weird and plucky androids and lots of action to be had in this fascinating sci-fi novel.
Inventor Godfrey Davis has put the whole colony in jeopardy by leaving his new invention un-attended and the only way to save civilisation and also redeem himself in the process is to find his late fathers secret invention and turn back time, however the past was about to catch up and throw chaos in the works!
These strange and weird characters entertained, each have their own personality traits and I really loved them. The plot line gripped me from early on, and the humor had me smiling at some of the plucky dialogue and events that played out. If you have even a passing interest in sci-fi, as this is a lot more than a sci-fi novel, and love to be entertained and have a giggle whilst reading, then I suggest you give Our Blue Orange a read....more
