Wow that was a marked imrovement over the last. I felt like the first book had a good bit of potential and was meh on picking this up at first. But noWow that was a marked imrovement over the last. But now I'm glad I did it's near constant action the characters came off a good bit better, the action writing I felt improved. All in all much better then the last and I'm very much looking forward to reading the 3rd....more

Solid fantasy book the pacing was a bit odd, the first few chapters are almost short stories introducing the main characters backstory. Then the last about 2/3 of the book is one longer story it's not really epic or SAVE THE WORLD/KINGDOM it's more of a light mystery in a fantasy world....more
