Solid end to the Trilogy, and I highly recommend this series overall. I was tempted to give this a 5 star just because I really do love this series, bSolid end to the Trilogy, and I highly recommend this series overall. I was tempted to give this a 5 star just because I really do love this series, but the book fell a bit short in general the main issue with this book was it felt like it got edited down too much like it was missing 20-30k words just thoughout the book. But for fans of non-stop action hard sci-fi this is a must buy series....more

I liked this book, and I will be reading more of the series as it comes out. This one actually felt a bit more like a Chinese twist on lit-RPG than a I liked this book, and I will be reading more of the series as it comes out. This one actually felt a bit more like a Chinese twist on lit-RPG than a Russian one, mostly in the way that leveling up was like an addiction the way the people in the camp acted, the way the main character succeeded at things almost felt like I was reading another xianxia novel. That being said I do give this a strong 3 and have already picked up the next book....more

The warning signs started early with a bit of an unbelivable premise, but I ignored it going okay fine whatever it's just for the setup. Then there was all the clunky dialog, well I read tons of terrible webfiction so I got a high tolerance for that. Then there was the nonsensical plot and characters. I don't get anyone...nobody is relatable, nobodies actions make any sense I just can't believe any of this. It feels like a crappy eve-online fanfiction as someones first attempt at writing. Like this is subpar for webfiction quality let alone something that is even on amazon with a good rating....more

I read a ton of lit-RPG/portal fantasy into game world, and this was easily one of the stronger entries. Basically instead of overly focusing on grinding/gaining skills. Those just kind of happen as the main character is desperately trying to survive as he finds out it is a trap and the admins don't want him alive and/or sane. The fact that it's a sci-fi setting is a nice change of pace as well. But this is actually recommended to everyone not just lit-RPG fans....more
