Told in dual POV, both in 1st and 3rd person, it’s the sixth installment in the "Detective Dan Riley" series but it can be read as a standalone. This is my first read by this author and unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The plot isn’t something new and it was very predictable. I could guess it early on and it dragged a lot. All in all, it didn’t live up to my expectations but I hope you enjoy it more than me!

She abandons her lovely family and her good life and goes with them. 3 Stars When She Returned is about a reporter who is going to investigate a cult. She abandons her lovely family and her good life and goes with them. A bit unbelievable, I can’t imagine how someone can get brainwashed to accept all those things. Another thing is I don’t count this story as a mystery/thriller. There wasn’t really any mystery to solve and I’m not really into cult-ish stories to be thrilled. I should all I did like its writing to read till the end. But I wouldn’t say I liked the ending either. I wasn’t satisfied with it. Told in multiple POV, 1st person, it can be read as a standalone. Overall, it was an ok read, and I hope you enjoy it more than me!

The Stay-at-Home Mother is a story of a struggling mother (Andrea) who has moved recently and is expecting her second child. Her neighbor from across the street (Gabby) who has a teenage boy is helping her with looking after her little son but one day when Andrea wakes up she finds Gabby’s house messy and her little son is nowhere…
Told in dual POV, 3rd person, it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this story, the writing was good, but I guessed the main twist right from the beginning but didn’t see that ending coming. Even though it was a bit predictable but still a page-turner and I couldn’t read it faster, it was fast-paced with short chapters. All in all, I had a good time reading it and hope you enjoy it as well.

"Mother Knows Best" is a story about a mother who did everything to have healthy children and did her best to protect them, no matter how they were created! I went in blind and I suggest you do the same. This is not really a mystery, at least it wasn’t for me but it was a really good thriller! I enjoyed it so much! Told in multiple POV, 1st person. It’s a standalone novel; well-written, fast-paced, a page-turner with a satisfying ending, contains short chapters and alternates between Before and Now. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and hope you like it as well!

Lia is twenty-one-year-old and is the madam of an illegal escort agency. She has wealthy, powerful parents and loves Greek mythology. August is in his thirties and has been buying up ancient artifacts. He also is a sacred prostitute. They both have so many in common. They meet at Lia’s graduation party. At that party, Lia’s father gives her a gift, a very dangerous gift…
Well, I’m not really into mythology but I liked the first book in the series, I liked the author’s writing and I liked the idea of both books. my only issue was the prolonged sex scenes. It was comprehensible considering the subject matter but still it was too much for me. Told in single POV, 3rd person. It’s the second installment in "The Red" series with character crossover but it can be read as a standalone. Overall, I liked this and hope you enjoy it as well!

First of all, you see that title? Well, that “Diary” wasn’t really important and wasn't useful really! Second, the story itself was so repetitive, and asking repetitive questions over and over without revealing anything was on my nerves (in a bad way)! And it was a bit over the top, in my opinion! I’m not saying it was that bad, but it wasn’t really good either! Told in single POV, 1st person. Overall, it was an okay read for me and I hope you like it more than me!

The story is about a mother of two girls. She has her own business and that takes most of her time and she can’t take care of the girls as much as she wants and her husband can’t help her much either! One day when she wakes up, there are some incidents that make her think she’s not really a good mother. So she makes a decision but what if her decision makes everything worse and her perfect family starts to fall apart?!?
This was my first read by this author and it won’t my last since I have another of her books! The story is well-written and the characters are well-developed. It’s slow-paced but it still is a page-turner. Told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s a standalone novel. Overall, it was a good read and hope you like it as well!

I didn’t like any of the characters. And the story itself couldn’t hold my interest completely so I skipped and skimmed a lot but still the ending was unpredictable. My other issue was I didn’t know what to believe at the end, (view spoiler)[was it Emma's imagination or Joanne did say that to her! And if she said it I didn't like her to be free... (hide spoiler)] That bothers me, a lot! Told in multiple POV, both in 1st and 3rd person at a slow pace. It’s a standalone novel. It was my second read by this author and unfortunately, I don’t think her works are for me. Still, I have to say it was me and not the book, as you can see all the good reviews! Four years ago Jessica’s sister, Isabel, died. Seemingly it was an accident. She had fallen off the balcony. They think she was drunk/on drugs when she was there. Now Jessica’s four-year-old daughter, Olivia, talks about her auntie Izzy! The aunt that she has never seen. Olivia knows about her aunt’s past, the details that no one told her! And apparently, she knows about the day Izzy died!
Did someone murder Isabel? Are they now after Jessica and her family? The key seems to lie in the hands of a child. Can Isabel reveal the truth from beyond the grave, or is the answer closer to home?
My first read by this author and it was good! At first, I thought it lost me at the supernatural part but well, I was wrong! It’s slow but the short chapters were in my favor and I couldn’t guess it right! The story alternates between the past and the present. Told in multiple POV (Mostly dual), 3rd person. My first read by this author and it was really good! totally enjoyed it! It contains short chapters (always in my favor) and in such a way that made you turn the page to read the next one! I thought maybe the story wouldn’t end like that and somehow in the middle or at the end, it will be changed! But it didn’t happen and it was a problem for me. It makes me so anxious/frustrated when I think about the kids with their shots... I think the ending was open somehow! But I should say with these issues the writing was really good, in such a way that makes it hard to put it down. Told in multiple POV, 3rd person. Grace and Julian went for spring break to celebrate their friend’s wedding, but then Julian’s body was found and two days later, Grace was taken into the custody and charged with her boyfriend’s murder! Ten years later, Grace asked her old friend, Sidney, to help her with looking into her case. So Sidney started filming a documentary. But the thing is Sidney, herself, doesn’t know if Grace is innocent or guilty! So is Grace really innocent? Why is all evidence against her? Why is she in prison? If she’s innocent, so who is the killer and What was the motivation for killing him? And if she’s the guilty one, why did she kill her own boyfriend who intended propose to her that night?
Well, I enjoyed the story but it was a bit slow for my taste. It started off really good and I couldn’t put it down but then part three was really slow and I got bored a little but then it picked up again. So no it wasn’t a steady read for me but I should say somehow it surprised me (about after 65%). I liked the writing style, the plot, and the short chapters! It was my first read by this author but won’t be my last! Told in multiple POV, 3rd person. Overall, it was a good read and hope you enjoy it as well!

Isaiah and Mark met each other at Dani and Cal’s wedding (Mark’s sister and Isaiah’s cousin), six years ago. At the time, Isaiah was eighteen and wanted to lose his virginity. He’d chose Mark but not only Mark rejected him but he claimed he’s not gay. Six years later, Dani and Cal die in a car accident. They both had separate wills and in each will, one of Mark or Isaiah were chosen to be the guardianship. So until the court settles everything, they have to share custody. And both of them want to prove they are the best choice for the guardianship!
Well, this one is my least favorite in this series so far. For the first half I really struggled and thought maybe the second half would be better but no, that didn’t happen and after reading 60% of the book I started skimming. We met Jessie, Ben, and Zee in the first installment. Jessie is a private investigator and works on cold cases. Seven years ago, Ashley’s newborn daughter was abducted. At the time police couldn’t help much but after these years Ashley can’t forget about her and needs to know what happened to her daughter, so she went to Jessie for help. These part of the story was so predictable!
10 years ago Ben had an accident that stole his memories. He suffers from amnesia. He’s married and has two children. He is a crime reporter. He received a letter. The writer wanted Ben to tell his story to others that how he lost his girl, how his daughter needlessly suffered and died too young because of greed. And asked Ben to contact authorities to do something and if they didn’t pay attention, an innocent life will be taken! I Think finding the perp was so accidental!!
Let’s not forget about Zee! The girl who was kidnapped in the first book and suffers from Schizophrenia, remember? Well, she thinks being a PI is a good job for her so she has her own cases to solve too!
What I like about this series is that it’s not just one story or case to solve! It’s like they work with each other but on different cases that sometimes are entwined with each other! in the first book I was liking Ben! He was a mystery to me but at the end I liked him but in this one, we know him more, some of the mystery from his past was solved but not completely and it made me think about him as a shady person! I don’t want to dislike him but with things that I found about him, about his past? I just don’t know! But I liked that he trusted Jessie that much that he could talk about the images he’s seeing even though they are bloody memories!
Told in multiple POV, 3rd person. It’s the second installment in the "Jessie Cole" series and it’s better if you read it in order. It’s well-written and despite it wasn't as exciting as the first book I enjoyed it, hope you like it as well!

This story is about a father (Trevor) who lost his only son (Riley) and Jesse who lost his best friend in the war. Trevor and Jesse found each other through Riley. They both struggled with their loss and started healing each other. They find peace with each other. The healing part of this story was too much for me. The 60-70% of the story, they were healing, speak about Riley, about their memories of Riley, about what he did or wanted to do, about war and people they lost… This Riley/healing part was really too much and there wasn’t any page that they wouldn’t mention Riley’s name! I know it’s reality! I know people who lost their child at such young age and still after years they couldn’t heal properly and feel lost. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not heartless but for this story, I wanted something more, I wanted to see their love more… and because of that, the story felt too slow for me. But I think it was just me because my friends all of them loved the story. Told in dual POV, 3rd person. It’s a stand-alone novel. Hope you enjoy it!
