Nicely developed adventure plot, with some surprising twists and turns. I appreciated that Sally continues to have the strong sense of agency, loyalty, and resourcefulness that I love her for. Dealt with feelings of inadequacy and not fitting in that lots of young people deal with, teaching self acceptance and self love.
