But this one was the least surprising to me, probably because I already read a lot about the subject (including many of the real books, arguments and authors mentioned in the story). There wasn't a single a-ha! moment reading the audiobook, I could basically predict everything (the great revelation, the identity of the true villain, how the book would end, etc.).
However, even if I wasn't surprised, I found the book very interesting. It flows easily as a blockbuster movie, but it discuss a lot of interesting stuff about religion, science, artificial intelligence and evolution, in a way very accessible to any reader, and it's never blatantly wrong; there aren't stupid errors like those in Digital Fortress, for example.
