Raskolnikov's mother's monologues were pretty annoying. A few of the characters rambled on annoyingly actually. There was maybe 20% of the book (and it's a long one) that I found particularly engaging and engrossing. I wouldn't read it again, but I would be interested in discussing a few of the passages with others. I'd probably give it a 4/5 if it was half as long.
