This book blew my mind Andy Weir. I fell in love with the story and and the whole idea of an Astronaut stuck on Mars where his survival skills are tested. Overall my thoughts on this book;
- All the characters were believable,
-the writing style was cinematic( can't wait for the movie- Matt Damen all the way!),
-Loved Andy's sense of humor in this book,
-Pager turner,
-The scientific aspect of The Martian was spectacular,( gained more knowledge about space!),
-Watney and his hatred towards disco was understandable,
-the list of problems NASA had faced in order to save ones life.( and spent millions and millions of dollars)
-the Martian trip on the rover and trailer to Ares 3 to Ares 4 MAV was extremely dangerous and risky!!!! And offcourse exhilarating even from a readers POV.

I cannot recommend this book enough, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. And to even think a debut Novel could have such an impact as a stand alone,....Andy Weir has definitely mastered The Martian Story.
