Just doesn't float
I read and loved The Memory Keeper's Daughter several years ago. this had little to offer. Lucy is basically an immature,unsettled, rather passive person looking to the past for clues to her present. I could not connect with her or with any of the other characters. I very much wanted to enjoy this book but came away disappointed. Will wait for authors next book and hope it appeals to me more.
