Sadly this is a DNF for me, I enjoyed the first one but it wasn't a hit out of the park for me. This second one was just as slow as the first and clearly revolves around the characters struggles with depression and PTSD. I am not in a great mindset to read that, and my interest in YA fantasy is really waning. This is one I am just going to have to pass on.
