I’m pretty sure I read this book but since I didn’t write a review I went ahead and got the audio version via audio escape. See how important it is to write your reviews right after you finish a book?

I thought It’s in His Kiss was okay. I didn’t have high expectations since I already read it and so it was nice to have background noise. I actually liked that it was a male narrator. I’m a sucker for the British accent.

I was really looking forward to Hyacinth’s book because she’s the book worm that likes to write. Her and Gareth get together to translate one of Gareth’s family member’s diary. They have this cute friendship and I don’t really see the chemistry between them, but I do like the banter. Gareth kind of finds Hyacinth a little annoying and so I see it like he sees her like a little sister.

I did like to see Hyacinth’s mom, Violet, on Violet’s perspective when her husband died. That was a touching moment, only because I am mom.

Overall, I’m almost done with the series.
