** spoiler alert ** I really liked the dichotomy of Amber, the prim and proper lawyer, falling for Garrett, the tattooed biker boss, despite her biases. Ironically, much of the book seemed geared towards showing that Amber was worthy of being mated by the pack Alpha. At least she’s psychic, and she’s brave enough to risk herself for Garrett, and she’s instrumental in saving his sister Sedona. This pairing lacked the sizzle and burn that pulled me into the first book.
