Besides some really memorable moments and dialogues , i felt that the book with all of its descriptions regarding the people of Marycomb was boring and i could hardly find reasons for their existence.
The book follows a pattern similar to a game where you have 3 uninteresting and boring sub-quests that nonetheless have to be completed in order to get to the main quest.
This pattern stayed true throughout the book.
