This was an interesting experience. It's not often I pick up a book for only sex and get smacked in the face with a really romantic hero, adorable romance, engaging plotline and, ironically,... bad sex.

Hades (H) is a sweetheart and it's actually not often that I come across such a lovely hero in bdsm romance, so it was refreshing for sure. He's respectful, and all-around adorable when it comes to his weakness for Persephone (h). The puppies thing was so cute.

However, the sex was just so...unimpressive, for lack of a better word. Granted, I'm not crazy for voyerism, but I swear I read the line "and he was inside me" so many times. And some sex scenes were 2 pages long maximum? And they're all sex scenes that I've read before? I mean, from my understanding, the novel's purpose was to be explicit so I just found it kind of bizarre that it was possibly the weakest part of the whole book.

Yet, the romance was actually decent? Quite good, even? The hurt/comfort 😛😛. Therefore, I shall be slapping a three star on it.
