it was amazing

bookshelves: science, books-i-own, africa, anthropology

This reads better than any best-selling novel. I don’t know if that’s because Turnbull is a great storyteller or because the BaMbuti pygmies of Congo are just fascinating in their simplicity and connection to their forest. I feel like I have been privileged with this window into their life and I couldn't help being overwhelmed.
