If you plan to read this book and The Glass Hotel, I recommend reading The Glass Hotel first. This isn’t a sequel to it, but it’s sortof set in the same universe and there are spoilers for The Glass Hotel in this book.

Also — if you want maximum enjoyment, listen to a few 2020 podcast interviews with Emily St. John Mandel right before reading this book and find some familiar quotes in this book.
