This is the first book I read of Jesse's, and I LOVE the style!, I'm definitely reading more of their books.

This is a dark romance where the kidnapped (Damon) falls for his kidnapper (Saint). While reading I come to the realization (my opinion) the story is more than Damon falling/lusting for Saint, this is about a person who lived his life closed off, not trusting and opening to anyone, because those who supposed to be there for him weren't. This is about seeing beyond the this emotional barrier/ armor some people wear to protect themselves. Seeing the truth of someone even if they believe they're a bad person.

This is a sweet?, funny (their banter), slow burn, medium angst story that captivated me from the first chapter.

I gotta say the author is talented, the style of telling the story, dual POV, and I could feel what the characters feelings because of how it's described *perfect*.

💯 I highly recommend this.
