I was, obviously, loving this so much specifically because of the ferocious smut that this L.O.R.D.S universe never ceases to amaze me with. But then, out of the blue, in the last 20%, things got kinda crazy real fast. It annoyed me at first with that four years time gap, and just when I got over that, bam, some wild and unnecessary stuff happened with the heroine. While the crazy twists involving the heroine could have been acceptable, their placement towards the end left little room for a satisfying aftermath. To wrap things up quickly, the HEA epilogue hit, and it's like all the crazy stuff that happened before just vanished.
