I wanna be a Goode Girl 🫠

While it did take me a little bit to get into this book, once I got settled I had a lovely time. Adam Goode, loyal, devoted son to one of the most prominent, TV level preachers has the very foundation of his belief system rocked when he finds out his father is not the devout and wholesome man he always believed him to be. As SLC Punk’s Stevo once asked, “What do you do when your foundation falls apart?”.. Well apparently you join forces with the scorned alternative ex-gf of the owner of the sex club responsible for the wrecking ball to said foundation and organize a long con revenge plot while simultaneously unintentionally purging and rewiring years of conditioned religious trauma into the person deep down you’ve always wanted to be. Totally reasonable 😈

The religious guilt from Adam was a bit much at times, and I felt like the climax fell a little flat (I wanted a little more push back from Dad) but overall I really enjoyed the emotional growth of both Adam and Sage. These two were 🔥and I will subject myself to Adam’s dirty talk any day of the week and twice on Sunday 🥵 Definitely interested in the rest of the family and on board for the ride 👍
