This book has AMAZING banter, but holy slow burn….. 340 pages and the best we can get is a pretend kiss and lingering hug???? Overall, I did really enjoy this, but felt the fantasy elements were a bit lackluster and I thought both of the main characters were so clueless to the other’s very obvious feelings. Idk, I just don’t think the romantic payoff was there, but maybe in the next book?
