I started it, did maybe 200 pages and then I just went "eh" and walked away. Hope you get further!

2*? Eh. Sounds about right from what I read. Sam has some great dialogue and he's genuinely an intelligent writer. But his books are bloated beyond belief with the incessant, boring *bickering* of a bunch of egotistical characters. It might work as a TV show or even a comic, but a book? No, I just... felt like they were drawn out way too much.
