really liked it
bookshelves: 2023, coming-of-age, friendship, romance, secrets, class, ireland

This is a great one to suggest to readers who like Sally Rooney's books, and I have to say, I liked it just as much as the 2 Sally Rooney books I've read. It's set mostly in Cork, during the great recession, and it's about the friendships, romances and financial struggles of young people. They're all kind of insecure and messed up like so many people in their early 20s are, and it was a fun and absorbing read, or actually listen, as I read this as an audiobook. I love an Irish accent.
