okay so… i know there’s a ton of love for this series but so FAR, it’s mid, at least this book was. I have faith for the later books so PLEASE don’t fail me holly!!

the plot was good, but slow. that’s really the only reason it’s rated the way it is. i was incredibly bored until like the last 20 percent and the only character i liked was jude, she was a baddie 😻. cardan was giving nothing basically the whole time like where is this morally gray character i was promised? anyways im not giving up on this series yet, I trust yall and I bought the whole series, but beside the point
