I've read my far share of mafia romances, so I'm kind of picky about them. There were a couple pieces of internal dialogue that didn't scream mafia, like "holy cow!". I'm not one to use the term 'ick' very much lol, but this book gave me it. A quirky fmc is always fun, but Sienna was just annoying with her whole double personality thing.

Marriage of convenience is usually a fun read, but this one is a bit different than the usual trope - There was no hatred or enemies-to-lovers vibe in the slightest. It was a bit of insta-love and then denial of feelings for the majority of the book. Overall, it was just alright.
