really liked it

Peculiar but enjoyable. Through slices of lives of less than extraordinary people, we get glimpses of possible time travel, possibly supernatural happenings, deadly plagues, and always a sense of impending doom, although we cannot tell what form it will take. It took me weeks after finishing to decide if I was pleased or disappointed with the conclusion, such as it was. I think I am pleased. Because the book flirts with simulation theory and time travel, you might assume this is one of those stories showing how the smallest actions by one person can make huge ripples that have multi-generational effects, but I think it shows the contrary.
