I’ve been putting off writing this review because no words can do anything Lauren writes justice but here we go.

This book was incredible from start to finish, and I’m so surprised some people didn’t like it. This was almost as good as Powerless in my opinion, I just feel like there could have been more fantasy aspects instead of so much romance. I do not know what to do with my self after reading this book. Lauren’s writing definitely improved since when she wrote Powerless and it felt much more mature but still in a YA way. Kai still had me giggling and kicking my feet, and Payden and Kai’s bickering was so cute. I was never bored while reading this book at all and whenever I sat down to read it I didn’t get back up for at least an hour. Kai quite literally has me in a chokehold, favorite book boyfriend ever, the things he says to her have me on my knees. Payden and Kai have my whole heart. I feel soo bad for Kai because his epilogue was heartbreaking. Lauren will be paying for my therapy bills after that ending, thank you very much.

I don’t know how I am supposed to pick my top quotes from this book because there are wayyy too many.
