Enjoyable, but predictable

Overall, this was an enjoyable conclusion to the trilogy and provided a good, if somewhat predictable, story. Infernal Devices is still my favorite trilogy, and being back in that world allowed me to enjoy this trilogy more (especially after the letdown of Dark Artifices). I feel as if there was an excess of angst and miscommunication, leading to a lack of depth in the shadow hunter world. We don’t really get to see the awesomeness of the parabatai, as it is glossed over and just talked about. The love triangle was ridiculous, especially as there was already a forced love triangle to begin with due to the bracelet. As with the last trilogy, this one was too long and had me skimming at points. I am hopeful the last trilogy in the shadow hunter world will be better.
