Working in retail pharmacies for most of my professional career, I got tired of hearing the same Christmas songs over and over by every singer who ever recorded them. I was elated when Christmas came because I knew I wouldn't have to hear any of them for 11 months.

But one I always loved to hear, and meant Christmas to me more than any other song (Maybe because I didn't hear it a million times every year) was Silver Bells, no matter who performed it.

The little drummer boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie, plus all the other versions, We three Kings, by Rod Stewart and Mary J Blige... wonderful 😍
