Didoncho | 44 comments πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ that's the first time when i hear someone has a problem with finding a book to read (i mean here, in the group πŸ˜…) but i get you, sometimes i look at my tbr and I don't know from where to start... But before recommendations what genres do you prefer.. or you want to get out or your comfort zone? If you are (as i see) a fantasy lover you can try Sara J Maas series( acotar, tog or cc) or if you want easy read you can try The Darkest mind series by Alexandra Braken...

Didoncho | 44 comments Also... Keeper of the Lost Cities.. is it good?.., lately i hear a lot of recommendations about it but im still not sure

message 3: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Okay, i can try the book hah..
I onor people who want to try something new ( like.. i also want to but still prefer to read something that i know i will like πŸ˜…)...
As a ya authors i can recommend Sarah(already tell you about her), Leigh Bardugo, Jennifer L Armenthrout.. as a lighter read you can try Cassandra Clare or Tahere Mafi( the shatter me series)

message 4: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Or Richelle Mead if you like vampires 😁

message 5: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Actually im searching for something easier for now( i have a lot of things these day - homeworks, exams, competitions...) so I want something to distract me, even from a little 😌

message 6: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Is it something like Percy Jackson?

message 7: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Well, I will risk and say that I'm not big fan of Harry Potter ( R.I.P i knowπŸ˜…) buuuut my first fav book series( and first book bfπŸ˜³πŸ˜‚..) saw Percy so you convince me to read it..

message 8: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Was*
Sorry, stupid autocorrector

message 9: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments I think that most people like him because its their first book or book series and their first touch with the fictional world..(not necessary of course) also I don't like the idea that everything could be solved with magic - it's just unrealistic... The characters are not that bad but they annoyed me πŸ˜‚ most if the time. The story is sometimes interesting, sometimes none at all...
You know - is not that bad but it's not my thing...

Didoncho | 44 comments And that's why i love talking about books - everyone has a different point of view and likes different things

message 11: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments Also now i like.. no, i love reading unrealistic books but maybe when I read it was something strange for me and because of that I don't like it

message 12: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments I was raised with the mind that reading is something important, funny and of course interesting, so as soon as I learned how to read I started:))))

message 13: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments I actually start with sci-fi, which is still one of my favourite

message 14: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments my mum loves reading, so one day i just grabbed one of her books and i was in love. the book was more for adults ( like not spicy but with new and harder words but i was like 10 yo so :D ) but its still one of my favorite....
about read for school - i get you because school's reads are boring, i also need a punishment

message 15: by Didoncho (new)

Didoncho | 44 comments in my country school books are not very interesting this year/ till 7th grade, some of them were interesting and then... blah... / - we havΠ΅ mostly authors who are long dead, and who have written about liberation, philosophical and mental problems

once you are focused on the more realistic you can try sci-fi;
for starters, you can try something more fantastic of course - The Order of the Sanguines series is a story about vampires and something like werewolves, but it has nothing to do with ya - it's so real, everything is explained so authentically, with so many facts and arguments and mixed with so many real events and dates that you end up not knowing what to believe and what not; respectively, the characters are older - about 30 / without the vampires :))/ and the story unfolds in our days and our world, so if you decide to read it you certainly will get out of your comfort zone but it's worth it

the author is James Rollins - my favorite not fantasy author
here are some links if you want to check https://www.goodreads.com/series/8978... /the series/
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... /first book/

of course, he has other series but they are thriller and sci-fi; they're awesome too but not fantasy/Sigma Force is about scientist- killers and I loveee it/
