Your first expectation of the Art Club has long since been shattered. The image of students calmly, masterfully working on their projects is far removed from the reality of controlled chaos that you see. Students linger in all corners of the art studio, working on their respective projects. There's a sense of calm that overshadows the frustration, despair, and dismal mood of some students that have been struggling with their pieces. There's a flurry of movement to your left as one student roots through papers for one of the right quality, while yet another is trying to organize it all. Yet another student is sifting through the trash can in the room to grab snack wrappers before rushing back to their sculpture of trash as if they were possessed. If you squint, maybe you can tell if they actually are. For now, you walk to where you last had your drawing and remember with a growing sense of panic that your deadline is approaching.
