I greatly enjoyed reading Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandal. However that is not to be the case with Sea of Tranquility by the same author.
From what I can gather Sea of Tranquility is a study in Speculative Fiction (not a favorite of mine) I got 71% of the way through and became so disinterested in the characters, plot, writing, and setting that I stopped reading it. I'm not sure I'll be trying another one of her books any time soon. The difference between both books is astonishing.
