This area is for any discussion about the January 2024 book selection, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue before you begin reading it.

~~~~~
France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.
Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world.
But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.
Happy New Year!!
Warmest regards,
Nanette
Dawn (dawnella77) | 90 comments I am currently reading the book and am excited about starting the new year reading a unique story.
Pat of Rocks | 25 comments Based on the first couple chapters, I was convinced the movie "The Age of Adaline" pulled inspiration from this book's concept. I don't think there's any intentional connection but they do feel reminiscent of each other. I am enjoying it already!
Mel 🍉 | 10 comments This has been on my TBR for a while! I have heard amazing things about this one.
