madelyn:) | 46 comments I've heard mixed reviews about this book. Some people really seem to love it or think it's really overrated. Not much in between. So, would you recommend?

Eli | 8 comments Haven’t read Cruel Prince either but its something i’ve been wanting to for a while. I’ve personally only heard positives about it, i’d say go for it honestly.

Sophie (yourlocalballerinabookworm) | 31 comments yes yes yes! I just reread tcp and it is one of my favorites of all time. I see a lot of people recommend it for the romance (which, yes, is wonderful,) but I think the best aspects are actually the world building and character development throughout the series. Anyways, it's wonderful in all regards and SO worth it!

BlueFire | 9 comments 100% yes for me. Even tho you have to keep in mind that like booktok shows a very romantic side of the book but I personally don’t think it’s a romance in the first place. And it’s very political but I loved it and recommend it to my friends for years so go for it! <3

Maureen Vercruysse | 77 comments Absolutely yes!! It’s one of my all time favorite series.i can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t love these books

Kate | 1 comments While I thought the series as a whole was way over-hyped, it was still a fun series to read. I didn't think it was the best fantasy/romantasy series out there right now. I would just go into it with an open mind and see how you like it :)

Taelyn | 1 comments YES YES YES!!!! The Cruel Prince is one of my favorite fantasy books right now. I just read it and I can say that it is definitely a good read. There’s so many cliffhangers and plot twists. It was amazing. AND JURDAN IS SO FREAKING CUTE 🥰

Isha ☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚ | 77 comments yesyesyesyesyes a million times!!! the cruel prince is one of my favsss

madison blake | 46 comments i didn’t like it bc i didn’t understand it but chapter 20 was epic 💪💪

Yazminz | 6 comments totally

Kristina | 22 comments The book is good if you focus on the politics and character development, the romance is a disaster in my opinion, but it’s definitely worth reading!

message 12: by D.T. (new) - rated it 3 stars

D.T. | 41 comments I liked the dynamic between the main character and her family. But the fae/fairies characters were really horrid, and there's a lot of bullying. But a bit of a spy angle and politics kept the book intriguing.

Try reading the first book, and you'll know quickly if you want to continue with the series.

Argo | 22 comments Yes I love it. It was one of my favorite books when I read it.

Samantha | 123 comments Yes, it's so worth it! I really loved the whole series

kac (ghostofsirius) | 2 comments I just read it recently and was so mad at myself for leaving it on my tbr for so long!! I know people either love it or hate it but I genuinely enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down.

Calida (semi-hiatus bc school is life-sucking) | 46 comments 110% in my opinion. it’s one of my favorites and the third book is actually my favorite.

Izaro (Tortured poet) Yeess, i read it some days ago and it's soooo good, i love it

✨Adalynn✨ | 121 comments I’m reading the last one and I say YES 🙂‍↕️
Warning: it is high fantasy and a little difficult to keep up with occasionally if you’re not used to high fantasy but DEFINITELY worth it 💯
