Welcome to The Selection! This group is widely based off the series The Selection by Kiera Cass, so great if you’ve already read the series (or half of it), but if you haven’t, this page will help you understand how The Selection works!



Every time a prince comes of age in the kingdom of Illéa, a Selection is hosted to choose the prince’s bride. 35 girls - one from each province of Illéa - will be ‘randomly’ selected to go to the palace to win the prince’s hand in marriage. These girls have to be between 16-20.

Illéa is a kingdom formed where North America is nowadays, and is a relatively new kingdom. King Maxon and Queen America abolished the old caste system, where all the citizens were divided into castes, and the current prince is Queen Eadlyn’s grandson, thus Queen America’s great-grandson.

The Selected will go on a long journey, though some of journeys may be cut short! The prince can send girls home anytime, and only a few will progress to the second round of The Selection, The Elite. The prince will then choose his bride from the members of The Elite.

The Selected will arrive at the palace in Angeles in groups of provinces that are close to each other. They will each get a room at the palace and a wardrobe full of royal clothes for them to wear. The Selection will be broadcasted via TV around Illéa for the families of the Selected and everyone to watch. The girls can only send letters back home every now and then.

Here you can claim a member of the Selected or a side-character, but please bear in mind that you can maximum of 3 contestants and 3 side-characters, and because of the small limit on characters this means that you only have 2 weeks to complete your character or else your claim will be refuted!
