Tabitha (Bows & Bullets Reviews) (piratevanrock) This is my first year doing this challange. I hope to branch out from my usually Historical romance, YA, and general fiction to some good classics this year, but no promises. A good romance will always win my attention. I'm starting the year off with Away Laughing On A Fast Camel by Louise Rennison. I'm halfway through and will post when I finish. Any book suggestions are welcome.

I really like when people post reviews so I can get an idea on books. I read several books last year that I hadn't really heard of except for on this group. The Gargoyle was one and I think it was one of the best books I read last year.

Are these Georgia Nichols' books good? I've seen a lot of people reading them lately on this site.

Tabitha (Bows & Bullets Reviews) (piratevanrock) Georgia Nicolson*

They are very entertaining. I have enjoyed them. Georgia is a little on the selfish and vain side but I think they are really worth the read. You should read the first one (Angus, Thongs, & Full-Frontal Snogging) just to test it because it's only like 200 pages.

Stacie Vetsch I noticed you've read a lot of Charlaine Harris' books. Would you recommend them? I'm looking to branch out a little, and I've been interested, but haven't heard any reviews...

Tabitha (Bows & Bullets Reviews) (piratevanrock) I most definitely would reccomend the Sookie Stackhouse (starting with Dead Until Dark) books, which are the ones I've read. They are pretty fast paced mysteries obviously about vampires, werewolves, shapeshifts, and has various other supernatural creatures. They are funny with romance. All around great books with very interesting story line. I keep meaning to post reviews on them, but I'm horrible at writing them.

Stacie Vetsch Thanks! I'll have to pick one up to read.

Stacie - I love the Sookie Stackhouse books but her Harper Connelly mysteries are very gripping as well.
Harper was struck by lightening as a child and left with a gift that dead "bodies" talk to her.
