How do I strike out the text to effectively cross it out?

Example of a striking out text!

To strike out text you put you cursor before the words you wish to striked out and type the small letter s sandwiched between a less-than sign and greater-than sign <>. At the end of the text you want to strike out you put a forward slash and small s - that looks like this:

/s

sandwiched between these two signs (less-than and greater-than) < >.

Or . Look at the title of this thread. The word "Strip" would have been stricken out if html worked in that field.
