Eh?Eh! Did you notice Greg is going to read 50 more books than you? I think you should just end all possible challenges to your position as queen and set your goal for 1500.

message 2: by Greg (new)

Greg I couldn't do 150 since I read 162 last year, but I topped 200 in 2008 and 2009. Here's to another year of being a recluse!!

message 3: by Eh?Eh! (new)

Eh?Eh! Reading machines!

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

You guys are all awesome! Way to set goals!

message 5: by Greg (new)

Greg I will crush ktb!

message 6: by karen (new)

karen i don't know how many i read last year because on my stats it only says 89 and i know that is hogwash. is 150 too low?? is it not a challenge??i think i shall set the bar low at 150 and then crush greg anyway, tortoise-and-hare-style.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

are you going to read blood red road next?

message 8: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell My challenge is to read 3 books this year. I'm totally gonna beat you guys...by months probably.

message 9: by karen (new)

karen yes! blood red road and then don quixote and then that bodice ripper book and then who knows?? i am on page 602 of the instructions, so i may finish it before the end of the year.

message 10: by Amanda (new)

Amanda wow 150! How many can you get through a week??

message 11: by karen (new)

karen it depends... hopefully, many!

message 12: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine well you don't always set finish dates so it doesn't know how many you read.

for-much-deliberation ... Way to go Karen. I decided to just put 52 as my goal, lets say a book a week, but I'm already through 4, guess I'll have to do a goal update later on.

message 14: by karen (new)

karen yeah, i have a public goal and a private goal...

karen nope, just a bookseller. except for don quixote and the instructions, they haven't been particularly long books, but i hope to continue to impress throughout the year!

message 32: by karen (new)

karen yes, well if you read books about a cartoon pig and some animal butts, i think you would catch up pretty quickly.

message 33: by Greg (new)

Greg See Karen, people are impressed with you even if you haven't read nearly as many books as I have this year!

message 34: by karen (new)

karen hahahhahhahha

message 48: by Greg (new)

Greg See Karen, 89 is a very respectable number of books to have read in the first five months of a year.

message 49: by Bill (new)
