The character limit in an Appsheet Database does not automatically translate to the app. For instance, if you use a Long Text column the database is limited to 2000 characters. But the app will still accept over 2000 characters, save a form, and continue to accept changes. However no changes can be synced thereafter. Users will proceed to make changes for hours without realizing that all of their edits will be erased.
If there is a character limit in the database, why not make it automatic that a form cannot be saved? Why not force the same character limit in the app?
