Residency of Data for Google Workspace for Indian Customers

Hi,

I would like to know where the data of Google Workspace for Indian customers will be resided. I know that Mumbai and New Delhi are the two regions but I doubt they hold the GWS data. Can someone through light on this? If the data resides outside of India and if the requirement of the client says that the data should not be residing outside of India, then what are the probable solutions for this?

Hi, 

There is currently no option right now to select your data region to India which would say that it would live where Google deems it most convenient for your organization, the only regions available to choose from are US and Europe
